Hey, welcome! When did you get yours and how many miles so far? Your pros and cons?
I got mine about 7 months ago. It was a dealer exchanged that lingered more than what they wanted :D I had purchased a 2024 Performance from them and took it back for regular service. They spent 3 hours trying to convince me to trade my MT for the AT Nismo. Finally they offered something I couldn't pass. The car had only 104 miles.
Pros: Everything is better; although suspension is harder.
Cons: obviously the AT only because MT is my preference. By now I have developed a way to drive it between the regular AT mode with the manual mode. I absolutely love the car.

Glad it worked out great! Me likey too! Coming from experience owning 240z, 370z Nismo, and R35 GTR, I am very content with a well sorted AT Paddle. The GTR is of course the standard, but I understand Nissans thoughts on attempting a GTR-like Z experience. I am very pleased with the AT and how to make it work well in various driving conditions and moods. Arguably, it is perhaps more fun around town than the GTR, as if feels tighter, a more intimate to drive and control. Sweet!

The Z fits in a sweet spot. It's the cheapest "real" sports car you can get with a decent amount of power....hear me out

We're talking proper, real deal built to take a lickin' and keep on tickin' "Sports Car" - not a "sporty coupe"

Corvette: 60k 70k+, >500 hp, V8, Gas Milage isn't the best, Low AF, Corvette Tax on parts and service, etc. Power is never an issue with these things.

Z: 40k, 300hp >400+hp, V6, Gas Milage is realistic, Reasonable to get in and out, No Z tax, Can still go to jail or kill yourself aka enough power to feel it and get the blood pumping.

Miata: 20k 30k+, <200hp, I4, Great on gas!, Tiny AF, No tax, Slow.

Deep discounts are here to stay. 10-11k off sticker. Steal of the century.

I thought Nissan announced that they were reducing production primarily for customer ordered units and that would essentially eliminate discounts. So, once dealer current stock sold, discounts history.

Yes, if what’s been in recent articles is close to true, at about an average of 3 Z’s a year available per dealer, that works out to be quite a bit less than what I understand to be the past recent supply.

I suspect the available Z supply across the board going forward will either be less than or, at best, close to demand. If you’re having to order a Z to begin with, with the dealer looking at quite a limited quota, I wouldn’t expect dealers to be offering great deals.

I bought a new old stock 2025. But I had dealers calling me giving 5-6k on new 2026 models. And I suspect I could have got more if I had tried. I stole my new 2025 performance. Love it!
