I ordered the car in March 2021.
Dealers were taking orders before the car was officially launched…and Nissan Australia confirmed they had my order at that time, so then I had to put a deposit down first week of April 2021
My order is second at my dealership…plenty of people ordered way before the official launch, including many on this forum
Haven’t worked out the exact number of days…but well over 700.
I started this thread April 21 2021 …three weeks after my deposit was placed
I ordered 18 December, 2020. Still waiting....

You will not... And if you do let me know. ;) You do have to dig a little into BS posts by people trying to suggest quick deliveries, however it is wrong and to their credit Nissan is now playing hardball.

I think your car is pretty close. :)
Thanks @morgand you have kept me sane many a time with your encouraging reasoning

Wow….have you had confirmation from your dealer of a build date?
You should at least have that by now.
What colour/spec did you order?
And which state do you reside in?

My Queensland dealer has confirmed that my blue coupe has/was built in late January - but still can't give me a VIN. He tells me I should get the car in May. But then he previously told me it would be ready March, then he said April.... Seems only Protos and solid coloured cars are coming in so far.

Sounds similar to me.
I was given a “VIN” number by a dealer (two dealers back) that turned out to not be a VIN but something else entirely so the current dealer tells me, and that makes more sense as no one else is getting VINS before sailings.
You’ve been waiting 4 months longer than even me so I totally feel your pain.
You have confirmed build date end of Jan, my confirmed build date was 2nd week of Feb…so the real question is why in the heck haven’t they sent them and where are they sitting in the mean time.
I understand the quarantine issue…excepting that the car yards are now full of unsold Nissans, so the question remains. Why send unsold cars over ones that are sold and also built?
I also agree it seems solid cars are arriving first..and again, why would they build the least popular colours first.
So much of this roll out not making any sense

My due date since confirmed build was always May so let’s hope they arrive soon

I agree it makes no sense not to send the cars that are already built. I suspect my car is sitting in a paddock somewhere - exposed to the weather for three straight months. I fear what may happen to the paintwork - and potential rust/corrosion on the undercarriage/brakes/suspension, etc.

Anyone seen the under shroud for the Z at Z1, replaces the plastic with custom made aluminium shroud with a service panel for oil changes. I like the idea but a bit pricy at $369.

You can’t throw a grenade like that and walk away??
I phoned Nissan head office yesterday…they didn’t know anything new then, I’m not that hopeful they know anything new now?

Yeah it looks cool, but the stock shroud had a service panel too.
This would just add more weight and maybe a little bit more protection
