Mine is Proto, your coupe can't be far behind. Do you still have April/May delivery?
Apparently so…but the last time I checked it wasn’t on a boat yet.
Confirmed that it had been manufactured, but as yet…not on its way.
Given it takes 4/5 weeks from shipping to delivery., I very much doubt it will be here anytime soon

Although I need to correct…I joined the forum three weeks after my order was placed…started this thread for the Aussies Sept 2021

I should have ordered a proto, would have had it by now.
But way back when I ordered they didn’t think Australia was getting it, and to change my order would have put me to the back of the line ?

So this happened today. The dealer jumped the detail up the line to get it done before Easter long weekend. Legend.

Built 12th December 2022. When's the next meet Brisbane peeps?
Congrats! Hopefully a few people on here can start to organise some meets soon.

I've been telling myself I'd sell my Proto if I got a good offer in the mid 90's or higher. A few days ago someone offered $95k (subject to getting finance). I said ok but immediately felt a sense of disappointment I might actually be going to lose it. I haven't heard back from him which I am feeling relieved about. I actually love the car and now know how much I would regret letting it go so I've taken the ad down. My overseas stint is on the cards now anyway.

I know exactly how you feel, when I sold my 370Z as soon as the money came through I had a sense of regret and knew there was no going back.
If you can keep the Proto do so

Does it seem strange that all the cars that have been delivered so far there have been no yellow, blue, or passion red

Tit seems all that’s been delivered in Aus are Protos, or solids (no black roof)
What gets me is, they are made..yet they are not sending them.
Yes there is the quarantine thing, but that still doesn't make sense to me given they have sent stacks of Patrols etc that haven’t even been sold

Our dealership is now almost full with unsold cars, yet they don’t send the ones that are ?

Picked up my Z today. Just three things;

1. No body is going to be disappointed, it is a fabulous bit of kit.

2. If you didn’t get Diamond Black you made the wrong choice, and

3. If you got a manual, you are slower than me. ???

But seriously, so far this is my favourite of the three sisters. It might just be my goldilocks car.

I’ll agree with the first point. As time dragged on it could have been easy to start to take notice of all the detractors out there. I reckon for the money the car is amazing.

On the second point, let’s see how we feel when we park under fluorescent lights in a year from now. Have to agree the black does look fantastic when clean and new.

Third point: All the tests would suggest you are correct, but I’ll still take my manual every day.

860kms in the seat so far.
This really is a Grand Tourer. Sat at 120kph and only drank 6.9l/100k. Seats are Uber comfortable once you get them set up. Whilst not a lot of tech, it’s exactly what you want from this sort of car.

Suspension is on the softer side, however spirited driving on the NSW country roads was very enjoyable and I wouldn’t want it firmer unless it was on a track. It has a slight weight transfer on initial turn in, however feels very planted. If this car had a multi mode setting that adjusted suspension, steering and engine/exhaust, it would seriously be the ultimate car. Even without those I think this is my favourite ride ever….

Apparenlty Nissan has cracked down on dealerships passing on fall over orders. Mine was a fall over from another dealer and when they contacted Nissan Australia, I was next on the list for my colour. So very lucky.

Stopping off at Bathurst tonight.
