Long time not posting in here as I sold my Z back in August last year when they announced the NISMO was coming.
Was lucky to get an early allocation, and all going to plan, I will be posting a photo of it Friday. Feel like I've been pretty lucky in ordering, getting amongst the first...
I have contracts in place, usual disclaimers about not guaranteeing a car, no real other news to share.
However, and take this with a grain of salt, as they are special build slots, it is likely that their timelines may not be as impacted.
Like the 10th anniversary BRZ's which were...
Totally agree, always loved the roof line on that car, very Bat mobile like...
Also agree that the price reflects desirability and performance, rather then value. Thing is, there are very few 2 seater, rear wheel drive, good looking cars with the type of performance you get. I mean you could...
They sure did, however a small allocation and people with existing orders were allowed to get first dibs, so maybe a lot less then 100 available in that window. The rollout here has been a bit all over the place, and in my opinion a combination of not built to order dropping (hence certain...
I do love heated seats in the winter...
Thing is, I reckon this could be the last Nismo Z they make with ICE. And whilst I agree that for the extra coin you could upgrade the performance spec car, it's just not the same.. With a bit of luck there will never be more then 100.. lol.
But most...
Only just, it took way longer to sell then I thought it would. There are a fair few for sale at the moment, ex-press and ex-demo. It's just not a well known car and only enthusiasts are going to drop that coin on one.
Agree, it's a difficult choice. The Mustang will always be that special...
Yeah, it sure is.
I don't think people on back order will take them... It's a different proposition in styling, price and available in auto only.
The flippers are probably starting to cool their jets a little, as the market has turned and I am not sure you want to get caught with a $100k car...
So I am back again. I sold my Z a few weeks back when they confirmed the Nismo, and I confirmed you could get it in Black...
So who else is going Nismo? Only wish they'd done the bi-modal exhaust... But thinking might keep the Nismo and either flip or not take delivery of the Dark Horse...
It's an internal announcement, that pre-dates the factory marketing releases. There will be lots of other more important, based on volume, announcements over the next few weeks and months I would guess...
I wouldn't count on this. With Toyota's announcement on price rises, I reckon it will be interesting to see if others follow suit.
If I were a sceptic, they may just try it on and go through their list. Though, each dealership probably only has less then 10 people on a waitlist, so...
I totally agree.
I drove the Z to work today and it really is a beautiful car to drive. Fortunately apart from some small things I have had problem free motoring, in my one colour auto.
Knock on wood!!! Which is the point.
For a low volume, relatively expensive car (considering it is...
Solid colour auto's will be the only Z's left....
They may just be hoping the Proto Z owners aren't actually driving their cars, or babying the roof by always being garaged or under cover.
