No one here likes Nissan Australia either
Not after this shemozzle they don’t

The most infuriating thing to me is if I could just find a new car or one two years old in the same price range that I liked I would walk instantly.
But nothing really ticks all the boxes at the same price….it’s actually making me so mad, because after all this, I really don’t want to give them my money ??

I am neither saying I agree or disagree, however don't underestimate paint issues.

There is currently a class action against Toyota for paint peeling ->

And there are a number of class actions against Nissan for gearbox issues in the 370z.

Whilst both of those boats have sailed, meaning the cars are out there, it would be hard for any OEM to claim plausible deniability moving forward should those issues occur again, and as you can see from the Kia article repainting a car these days is pretty expensive given labour costs.

On a side note, maybe Nissan can outsource their production to Subaru or Ford. Those guys are nailing it at the moment.

My current drive car is a NextGen Ranger and after the fairly quiet release yesterday, I've reserved a Ranger Platinum.

So with a bit of luck my garage at the end of next year will be the Dark Horse and Ranger Platinum. And to think I was always a Holden guy... ;)

Did you get tinting, or windows come that dark…don’t see any purpose to tint, if they are darkened glass

Also…did you actually order? Or did you buy it “second hand” from the dealer…i notice the two Protos that were up for sale in WA have disappeared from car sales.
Both were cars that dealers purchased from interstate and onsold
Just interested.

If you did order…when did you place said order?

I got the windows tinted and bought directly from a dealer, I originally had an order for a coupe mid march this year but due to a canned order I got offered a proto.

Saw a Proto driving in Liverpool on the way to work this morning "YH88". That's my news.
