  1. Hands Up all the Aussies

It differs by state. Read the fine print on the contract and / or ask the dealer when it’s going to arrive and if it’s not on time ask ā€˜can I cancel now and get deposit back now’. Cancellation was the smoothest and most efficient part of the Z process!

Sorry to see even you didn’t get a Z West Aussie. What a farce. Nissan Osborne Park were equally good and quick about getting my deposit back too. Seems that’s the only thing Nissan is any good at. ? Enjoy your Z4 - great car

And that’s me out. Now driving my new (for me - 2nd hand) Audi RS5. My Z order is cancelled. I will continue to watch the Z roll out with minor interest. Maybe I’ll look at the final year of Z whenever that may be.
  4. Hands Up all the Aussies

Judging by the photos and the reference to it having 10km on the clock I’d say it will be a real car. And not a new car but a second hand sale. And they are trying to get more than list price and likely will. Text says it’s an auto but the photo looks like a manual to me. ? idiots

    Me too
  6. Hands Up all the Aussies

Drove an auto demo today. Definitely not for me. Because: 1. I think it’s has too many gears. You click on a paddle to downshift and almost nothing happens because the gear below is almost the same ratio as what you were in. So you have to pull on the paddle 2 or 3 times to make a difference...

They do indeed have one. Thanks
  8. Hands Up all the Aussies

Anyone know if there is an auto demo Z anywhere in Perth. My order is for a manual and I’ve driven a manual demo. Just think maybe I should try the auto. No surprise back in the day my 6 speed manual 200SX was so much better than my 4 speed auto 200. But autos clearly have improved a lot since...
  9. Hands Up all the Aussies

since the Dream Orchid has already left Fremantle for Darwin any one know why another 2 weeks until Zs that were on board her get delivered
  10. Front license plate -- will you mount it or not?

Australian cars have to have front plate
  11. Hands Up all the Aussies

I obviously hope you guys turn out to be wrong, and I hope that once the factory cranks up they can send a boat load full of Zs and clear up most of the backlog. I also expect some orders will be cancelled (because of interest rates if nothing else). But I know I am being very optimistic. Maybe...
  12. Hands Up all the Aussies

Does anyone know how many 350z or 370z sold in australia in first year? Because I don’t know that it’s actually going to be a big seller. It’s not a cheap car. It’s not a prestige car. It’s only 2 seater. It’s a pretty niche car. I’m hoping they can clear backlog by mid next year.
  13. Hands Up all the Aussies

What’s your current realistic estimate of when you may take delivery after a 2 year wait?
  14. Hands Up all the Aussies

Hi all. I’ve been watching this thread for a bit. Figured I should sign up now. Yesterday placed an order at a perth dealer (Osborne park) for a gun metallic manual. They are talking April - June. We shall see ?? Although the Z ain’t perfect and although Nissan are hopeless at communicating...
