ive been searching everything i can to figure out the best option in order to not void warranty. (Bolt on mods as my dealer said)
as long as I’m not splicing wires, or messing with the ECU, i should be covered.
AMS makes a full catted down pipe and a lower….. any suggestions?

full downpipe for sure

you can get them catted or not

catted less power on stock turbo roughly by 10-15 hp
Looking at MAP OR AES? Not worried about the HP really. Just trying to make it the best stock+

If your not planning to tune your car, no value in a full down pipe.

Definitely dont do full DP without a tune.

I'd probably not do lowers without a tune either due to the potential boost spikes but that's just me.

I know some folks do anyway but for example even Z1 said they'd give me a pretune to use with just lowers to make sure it doesn't spike too much while doing pulls for the full tune.

Yeah, not planning on tuning for a while
If you have no plans to tune in the near future, you should wait on the DP, I just don't see any value in the mod, it might make the exhaust a little louder, but that's about it. I would wait until you are ready to get tuned, and the LDP will help you eek out a few extra HP.

Surprisngly, catted get you more hp, i don't know the science behind it, but few folks have been getting more power on hi flow cats on stock turbos. Unless upgrading the turbos, then catless would be more beneficial
