Floaty feeling in sweepers?

That’s great to know & reassuring.
Did you replace both sways & What brand did you go with for those & the braces, Nismo?
I try to stay OEM+ if possible unless there are way better aftermarket choices, but some are complete garbage.
I’m guessing you replaced your tires too?

floaty \ bouncy is par for the course. eibach sway bars took care of it - everything else stock

I’m also on Eibach sway front and rear. Tried and true company. No squeaks to be heard from them.

Eibach would be my #2 choice after the Stillen; I used them for my Evo X and C8 swaybars. Top quality brand, especially for springs (I've used their lowering springs on numerous vehicles going back to the 90's)

Surprised no one has gone with Nismo sway bars from the comments so far….
When I get the Z, I’ll take a stepped approach starting with tires & go from there to see what gives the best improvement .

The Nismo bars got a really bad rap originally because the were breaking at the welds. They've since fixed the issue, but the market had already moved on from them. They look very similar to the Z1 bars with generic U-strap mounts (neither of these would make my recommended list).

Eibach bars include new bushings that have to be greased, but do reuse the factory mounts & end-links.

Did you guys toss away the oem swaybars after replacement? My next mod will be the swaybars but I hate keeping things around.

Yeah, here in Aus we only have the "Standard" Z ( Sport ) and the Nismo.


Oddly enough, across the ditch we only get the performance and Nismo models, they never bothered bringing in the sport(standard model)

Yup, I let the guys collecting scrap steel have mine.

Especially after recently moving, I've gotten rid of most my stock parts by now.

Coil's fix this perfectly. I went HKS Hipermax S and love them, it feels like a completely different car. If you only do sways, you'll still have the sluggish front to rear weight transfer and squat/dive from the stock soft springs and dampeners.

To the OP’s question: was this a ‘26 or ‘27 model? My understanding is that the float was addressed in improvements to the ‘27 Performance and Nismo trims.

Stillens work great, plenty adjustable, I trust them been around for years, and still can use existing brackets and endlinks, check out my track video on the ZCON 2026 thread. Not too stiff, lots of control in corners. Mine is setup full stiff front, soft rear.
