Anyone have any tips for installing the Fast Intentions exhaust? Mine is getting installed this afternoon and I want to be prepared since I’m “borrowing” the lift at a local garage.

Just finished installing mine a few days ago. Main things to do:
1. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. They're super comprehensive, follow them.
2. The two tips might look misaligned when the mufflers are aligned (and vice-versa). Focus on aligning the mufflers, and use the hangers in the back for final fit and alignment once all the clamps are tightened up.
3. You'll need a torque wrench. The instructions specify 55-60 ft/lbs on the clamps. That's not all that much (you can easily go past that by hand with a normal socket wrench).
4. Keep the gaskets and screws that come out when removing the exhaust. You reuse a couple of them where the catback mounts to the downpipes.
5. Don't be shy about unscrewing the hangers directly. It can be hard to get the old exhaust off while they're bolted on.
6. Use an Exhaust Hanger Removal Tool if you have one available. Useful for both getting the old exhaust off and the new one on. Looks like this:

Thanks! This is super helpful info. Was it easy to figure out where to put the clamps? The whole warning that if you don’t do it right your muffler could fall off has me a little freaked out 😂

Yeah it was super straightforward. Just make sure the clamp edge is lined up with the tube end/seam when you tighten them and you'll be fine.

Just curious, did you get resonated or non-resonated?

I got the non resonated version. Still waiting on a car to put it on hahah. As soon as I install, I'll try and remember to make some before and afters. Not a whole lot of exhaust vids going around yet.

Just like me, upgrade parts BEFORE the car! Nice!

Haven't researched this non-resonated FI version, but are the tubes joined at that hip for exhaust to cross-over? Post up videos when installed.

Yep, the pipes are joined up in the middle there to as an X pipe of sorts

Resonated. Wasn't looking for over the top, just wanted to hear what RPM I was at with a nice deep tone. The sound is exactly what I wanted.
Same here. That’s why I love FI
