FYI - I'm chatting with Boosted6 right now on Insta (he's in our FL Z group since he's based near Miami) and it sounds like his 4" full downpipes may also be safe to install without throwing a code or needing a tune. They're definitely going to be loud but the O2 sensors are catted to basically fool the sensors into thinking the cats are still present. I've got the Stillen TruControl so if I got the full pipes, I'd ask for a re-map anyway. Decisions, decisions...

@kevinbonds was also going to him to swap out his Spools.

Stillen won't remap for downpipes; only for catbacks.

I was told that ANY mod you get was fair game to send them a message and have them remap if deemed appropriate.
@Tranzor Z was recently told otherwise directly from Stillen stating they only do catback exhausts but not downpipes. My guess is they are attempting to avoid running afoul with EPA and/or CARB since removing cats is illegal and makes them liable for massive fines. This happened to COBB, the diesel delete guys, etc. IIRC, COBB's EPA fine was to the tune of $1,500,000 and buying back illegal parts/work from customers.

From Stillen's website:
Custom Tuning files available for emissions legal aftermarket parts (exhaust, intake, etc) **Requires TruControl Mail-in**
Not for sale in California

Stillen has been in business for Nissan aftermarket for many many years, so I get it they are careful about current regs esp here in CA - CARB, EPA, etc. - which is a good thing to stay in business. I've got to research more on that TruControl though, seems a solid minor upgrade that Stillen sells.

I know there are a bunch of threads on TruControl, just have to read them LOL.

Stillen has a V2 trucontrol coming out and told me they lost their Bluetooth ability and you need to send them your module to get reflashed.

Stillen is not supporting their Trucontrol anymore because they have a V2 coming out. If you need support you have to mail it in and probably be without it for 2 weeks. They will not update it for downpipes per Kyle at stillen.

Shit that was messy. Lemme redo.

Stillen doesn't have a tuner capable to tune for downpipes. Basics only, intakes, cat back, etc. they have a V2 trucontrol coming out so they aren't supporting V1 unless you send them your unit. Per Kyle at Stillen, 3-24-26.

That’s absolutely ridiculous. They should offer a trade-in program if they’re going to willing make it more difficult for us with V1 to get remaps, which was a major selling point.

Probably a selling point I didn't understand. I never thought I'd do more to the car than their Trucontrol. But I got Z1 drop in filters, Stillen cat back and awesome Chinese catless LDPs. I'm not sending them my unit for 3 HP on their end. Not worried about it. The car picked up power and I'll leave it be.
