CZP Heat Exchanger Color

Hey all, quick question! Those of you with the CZP heat exchanger, they offer silver with black lettering and then all black with silver lettering. Is any of that even visible and if so, can you snap a pic of what it looks like?

Silver will have better thermal properties. You can barely see either without really getting down there. I cannot see the Mishimoto logo on mine, which is up high like Z1's (I went Mishimoto since it retains the stone guard off the stock HX). You can see the AMS logo since it's down lower on theirs if you get down there and look close.

My black vs. silver comment remains unchanged, but consider the CZP logo to be semi-visible like the AMS.

Any thoughts on using cerakote thermal transfer on an ams or similar heat exchanger?

With my bumper on I can barely see the CZP lettering which I’m fine with. I love how easily accessible the bleed port is

Planning to add the CZP hopefully before next track day, Sept coming up fast! How long did it take you for the complete install, any gotchas, mods to mount it, fluid capacity? Thx.

Edit: Just saw the PDF installation guide, my guess 6-8 hrs? What do you use to vacuum pressure the coolant?

Well I had a shop do it and it took them 4 hours. I do know the CZP requires over 3x more fluid and the shop filled it and then bled it. I don't know how difficult it was for them.

I did the install. The toughest part was removing the front bumper. I vacuumed refilled it after. Then topped off after running it. Took about 4 hrs if I remember right.

Note, wish I had waited to install along with a larger coolant pump and accompanying controller.
