Has anybody replaced their side mirrors?
Not here but that’s one thing I’m not really thrilled with. The Z mirrors are so freaking, honking large and, at least for me, placed so I have a hard time sometimes judging where curbs are and other things are when making turns to the left. I can’t get things set up to see below them in certain areas very well. I have to cock my head at awkward angles at times to see under the blasted things. I’ve never had this issue with any other car I’ve had. I’ve just had to get used to it with my Z.

Agreed, they are pretty big and make it difficult the judge curbs sometimes. Makes me want these new mirrors even more to help with that. Plus, I think they would look pretty good on our car.

There was a 6 month wait last time I checked on getting them too. You tuned? Most DTC can be disabled on tuned vehicles anyway.

Not tuned yet. But something to think about now 👍

How much horsepower do rear view mirrors make?

And I'll say again those are absolutely the ugliest mirrors I've ever seen in my life since the 90s s10s

Usually a mirror can add 20hp if you install it correctly

I have a pair of them installed on my R34, personally, I think they look good, and it gives you a wider view as well. Just make sure you order the craft square logo stickers with them, since you can only order those stickers in the same order as the mirrors.

I think they look pretty good. Like a true Motorsport mirror. Wonder how good they would look after 5+ years though….

I have them. No electric issues. These are manual adjust, so any time you wash the car or have any work done, they will likely get bumped a bit and you have to reset them.

Despite what the haters want to say or crack jokes about, these are a visual improvement for the exterior, functional in ordinary use by reducing the mirror size and the blindspot created by the enormous OEM mirrors, and are stable on track.

Note that there are two different neck types: long (TCA-N1) and short (TCA-F). Mine are the short type , long is something like this:

Next Level Performance stocked them for the Z34, contact them. Their listing for the RZ34:

There are a buncha optional features. I got the Type R cap which is the black conical piece at the base, for quicker adjustment and added stability. There are also glare reducing mirror surfaces.

They'll charge you for the Craft Square logo stickers because . . . just because, i guess.
I just had my wrap shop do a red line to match the Nismo trim.

Nice! Thanks for the pictures. Looks pretty cool with the red stripe added to go with the nismo.
