No direct shipping.They're technically not supposed to ship non-CARB parts to California, COBB just got caught for this and the "intended for off road use only" didn't save them. The same would be true of tires, tire rack wouldn't legally be able to ship them to a CA address. You'd have to have freinds/family out of state that can ship them to you and pay double shipping.
That's interesting about the 15,000 units, I wonder if tire makers could just make A,B,C and D "variants" to circumvent this. Also, this doesn't change much, it's still a slippery slope as they intend to keep lowering to coefficient, boiling the frog style, until anything remotely grippy is banned.
This will also still increase accidents.
