Tools I'd suggest:
  • 3/8" ratchet
  • 1/2" ratchet
  • various extensions
  • 11/12/14/15mm sockets (standard and deep)
  • 14mm wrench
  • exhaust hanger removal tool
  • PB Blaster
  • shop rags
  • mechanics gloves
I think the only thing missing is how many beers are needed from start to finish?

HAHA I went out to the garage too early to bring beer with, but I did have a Monster...and consumed plenty of cold ones later on with football!

I have been looking at the spool, they look nice, and have the mounting bracket which I like, the price is good to. Do you know if they are US made or China?
The company makes high end turbos , I dont know hmmm send them an message on the gram or call em. But I love the quality of the steel. Mates well to my FDP and Catback.

Made in-house here in Houston, TX. The quality (welds, flanges, etc.) looked very nice when I did a quick inspection prior to dropping off for ceramic coating.

Just installed my awe touring cat back on my Z. Not much louder than stock(I have the auto) but do notice a deeper tone especially when accelerating and downshifts. CEL did pop up tho. AWE says no CEL guaranteed. So maybe i installed it wrong. Gonna be going back under after few days to readjust everything(weather getting too cold here). But other than that happy with my purchase, going to buy the conversion kit soon.

Check the charcoal canister sensor relocation block. Did you move the rubber O-ring? Ensure the hose clamps are all tight and harness plug and block are both fully seated and clicked in.

Yes I used the oem o ring and made the sure the clamps are tight and seated properly. After driving about 20 min the CEL did go away. I’ll still be monitoring until the exhaust breaks in

Track version is a livable loud, not obnoxious annoying. I think u will like the conversion to it with the kit.
