Awesome - lowers going in as well?
LDPs are up next, along with a custom dyno tune. I'm likely going to do the B6A resonated 2.5" pipes, but also considering the Spool 3.0" resonated pipes.

All buttoned up and just got back from my 30 mile test loop. She rips now, really needed to be uncorked! Sounds great at WOT but no drone and quiet at a cruise. I'm honestly shocked at how quiet the dual 3" is. VERY happy with the system, the fitment, and how it all came together.

The Stillen rear swaybar made a much more noticeable difference than the front did; feels amazing and much more nimble. I have both front & rear on the softest settings. I'll be leaving the rear there, but going to bump the front up to the middle setting.

You’re going to love it. Quick tip, the passenger side tip doesn’t always line up due to the tight exhaust hanger. If it’s not in the right spot, muscle over the rubber hanger and it will center up nicely in the opening.
Good tip! That hanger was definitely a tight squeeze. I greased the hangers to allow the mounts to easily center themselves in the rubber. The cheap exhaust hanger removal tool from Amazon was a game changer...not sure where that thing has been all my life.

did you have to relocate the evaporator sensor?
Yes, but it was super easy. It may not be necessary with the Track edition, but the Touring muffler is super close so I see why they did it. The AWE supplied hose & clamps were a perfect fit.

The difference in pipe diameter is comical. Thanks for sharing all the pics. Is just a set of ramps under the rear tires all you really need to do this in the driveway?
Yup! Jack up the front for a little extra room to work, but it's doable by simply backing up onto some ramps.

Thanks for your posts, feedback, and pictures. This was my question too. I take it then that I don't need a set of lifts. I was wondering how much room I would need under the car and how difficult of a DIY project this is so I really appreciate your posts. I'm not intending to replace the LDPs so I'm leaning toward ordering the track version (just watching for a sale in Canada). I feel comfortable with the track version knowing I can get the conversion kit if need be.

You're welcome! I did the entire install start to finish working solo using only hand tools.

Tools I'd suggest:
  • 3/8" ratchet
  • 1/2" ratchet
  • various extensions
  • 11/12/14/15mm sockets (standard and deep)
  • 14mm wrench
  • exhaust hanger removal tool
  • PB Blaster
  • shop rags
  • mechanics gloves
