As the title states, there's a little clunk when shifting into reverse or into park while in reverse. Only started noticing it recently.

Nismo AT. Anyone else experienced his too?

No , not alot, it only happens when in manual mode from the shifter not the paddle when in auto mode.

In the old days, that was a universal joint issue...

maybe more evident at cold idle as the rpms are higher. I can't say I notice it to be harsh but it may be present at times. I do get a clunk when I shift into neutral with the car moving which I found weird, like going from drive to neutral.

Same happens to me. '24 Nismo A/T. Never put much thought into it. Maybe cold transmission fluid?

Sometimes I hear a clunk, sometimes I don't. Always assumed it was random based on how the gears stop, if it's on a hill, what angle of the moon, etc. '24 Sport AT

I feel like there's a decent amount of clunk that I can feel (don't recall if it's audible) going into and out of reverse (25 Performance AT). I also feel like the regular shifts are sometimes clunky or jarring, and I'm generally unimpressed with the transmission. It could just be that I'm used to driving a manual, but my wife's Volvo shifts super smooth (yeah, I know it's a luxury car and not a sports car, but I have limited experience with sports cars and automatic transmissions).

Many sports car transmissions are tuned so the driver can feel the shift which is akin to higher performance and quicker shifts, especially with many of these transmissions being used across a wide array of vehicle types with varried purposes. Its a fine line for engineers to toe...too soft and everyone complains and calls them slushboxes. Algorithms and learning software have helped, but still sometimes misses the mark when a driver is expecting one thing while computer(s) anticipate another.

The problem with this AT is it's fairly inconsistent. The shifts can be hard and performancy or they can be soft and pleasant, but in the normal driving mode you never really know which you're gonna get. Especially glugging around in traffic you can get a random hard shift while just coasting along while light throttle applications will be smooth. In sport mode shifting does generally get sharper and quicker, so we know there's something in the mapping that affects it.

I've been hoping tuners would unlock the ability to adjust it by the time I get around to wanting a power increase but haven't heard of any progress on that front.
