Thank you - so a 3” merge collector will be an improvement over stock.

The fact that AWE has made their system modular and markets it that way is pretty cool, imho.

First off, it's a 3" system. I don't want debates about size. My wife's a Size Queen and she feels like 3" is more than enough. That said, a 3" system is great, and not a lot of companies are doing it. What, 3" is unnecessary for the VR30? Well, 56HP will get you down the road, so why buy a car with 400?...it's unnecessary!! See where I'm goin?

For those of you who want loud and don't care, they're cool because it's a quality system that's not expensive...$1,290 or $1,340, depending on tips.

If you're more concerned about volume, you can have both options in your garage for an additional $100.
The Track (chrome tips) is $1,290. Adding the Touring conversion is $410. That's $1,700 USD to have both at your fingertips. Well, the Touring system alone (chrome tips) is $1,600. It is a new year, but I think $1,700 is still only $100 more than $1,600. Maybe I'm making more of a big deal about that than it is, but I do all my own work, so being able to hop under the car, cuss for an hour, and come out with a different sound for only $100 is mucho neato to me.

Bottom line, AWE does seem to make a quality product and sells it for a decent price.

The price is attractive, just not sure what I think about a 5” exhaust tip. It’s so difficult to judge exhaust by YT sound clips. I might hold out to hear other’s cars at ZDayZ but I really don’t want to wait that long.

I have a couple of questions -
Is the evap sensor relocation required for the track version?
what is the cross section area of the X / H pipe?

Most people buy catbacks or axle backs for sound anyway, so it's good to personally hear other cars and ride in them to compare, then decide. Only if you need to mod for huge powers that you need DPs, catless, etc.

Mine to compare, at install, catback with the merged collector. Street version for daily, I will get the Competition pipes replacing the mufflers later, but not for street.

Yes you still have to relocate on the track version. It was a 5 minute change - added the included piece of tubing to move the sensor out of the way and secure it.
This is exactly right. It is a very simple process and we provide all things necessary to perform the relocation (including a custom fitting) for peace of mind under potential higher operating temperatures.

On another note, the large tips sit perfectly in the center of the rear bumper cutouts. They are adjustable to be able to sit flush with the bumper itself, or stick out slightly (your preference).

We found other systems and smaller tips to feel out of place in those large cutouts. As you can see, even in chrome silver, they sit nicely within the space.

I went with a peek fitment.
The black tip looks super nice against the black trim

That really looks good, I like how you extended the tips past the bumper. Man, making me want to pull the trigger. The 5" tip really fills the gap well as pointed out by Christian.

Also our tips have a warranty on their finish, and last a long time when maintained. We made them removable because people love to change up the look, or freshen up after a harsh winter.

If you want to talk more about the system or procuring your own, shoot me a DM.

Oh my - can’t believe the evap sensor is located this close the to exhaust and outside of the canister cover. Could have easily located this on the front side on the canister behind the cover for protection. Need a mod to remove the consister all together…
