Finished adding the jack accessories, all Nissan parts. Nice and tidy.

Jack tools - lug wrench, handle, tow hook, jack - were found in a local wrecking yard from a late model Infiniti and Altima, easy pick a part.

I paid about $500 for the 19" easy spare. I feel better with new rubber, if im going to lug it around for a few more years. The bass is upgraded !
I took out the tire repair kit, ill call roadside to swap the wheels if and when I need help, since i pay for it anyway. Thanks for sharing the info beforehand!
Yeah, the better bass was a nice side effect / surprise when I added my spare!

For those In Australia looking for a complete kit, and can't find the wheel cheaply and easily locally. This is an option, comes with everything you need (and stuff you don't), and is currently on sale.

Well since the new Z does not have a spare, and it has the room, I figured why not.

I ended up buying two things from eBay. A compact spare from a 2015 Q50 (18x4) and the jack/tools from a 370Z. (Spent around ~$190)

Next, lets get into the back of the Z. First we have the Rear mat.

We get that out of the way, and we have the under-liner.

Now that we got that removed, we go down one more level, and we hit a plastic insert.

Finally, we are at the the bottom and we can see our foam inserts.

The entire middle foam insert was removed, and I'm in business with a spare tire. The jack, tools, and tow hook all fit into the OEM foams.

I ended up stuffing some old towels around the tire just to make sure it does not slide/move around. The plastic insert, under-liner, and rear mat fit back on top without any bulging or fitment issues. For under $200 bucks I'd say it was worth the addition.
Hi, did this spare fit in the front of Z performance ?

does anybody know if an Infiniti spare tire with a 155/80/18 tire will fit? The wheel is 18x4 but the tire spec is different. everyone I'm seeing that added a spare looks to have 145/70/18.

The Akenono 4 piston 355mm front calipers are the same on both cars if I'm not mistaken, so the temp spare you would need is the Sport Sedan/Coupe's 18X4" T145/70R18, MPN# 40300-JK00B: https://www.ebay.com/itm/234803374723

Sport model Coupes sometimes come with 19" wheels, but the spare is the same as the sedan since the trunk cutout is the same.

I just completed installing spare tire in my Z. It was quick and easy. Purchased a used spare (145/70 R18) from a 370Z off Ebay for $180.
Nothing like necroing an old post. Looks like you used sound deadening mats (Dynamat)? I'm going to do the same as I plan to leave the thick pad off when reinstalling the mats

Yes I did, there is a lot of good/great information here that has helped and guided me a lot.
