1 week with my '24' Performance 6 spd. I love it! I knew the pros and cons as I’ve watched every YouTube video but the one thing that bothers me the most as everyone knows is the stereo. If Nissan would have at least (very least) added a mid level adjustment along with the treble and bass, I could have tried to like the sound. After a plethora of adjustments forward, back word, treble, and bass….It sucks. I’ve read numerous posts on the huge amount of work to upgrade the stereo and I think I’ll pass. I think Nissan would have made money if they offered an up level option, many people would have paid the money. That’s it, I just wanted to vent 😤 (P.S. Bose just puts their name on anything now a days) 🫤

It is a Bose system, after all... Corvette owners deal with the exact same nonsense. Frankly, total garbage. Luckily I upgraded the intakes & exhaust already and likely never turn on the radio again.

It might not be the best, but it’s Much better than my Z06 was.

Yea, BOSE sucks and it also sucked in the NC Miata GT we used to own. Pushing the fade to mostly rear helps a bit but the the stereo still sucks. Enjoy the car and congrats!

I looked in to the Beat-Sonic amp and watched the install video. I’m not convinced it does anything but amplify the sound coming from the original head unit.

It's not a huge amount of work to upgrade Bose in a modern Nissan.

Bose equipped vehicles used to be difficult to upgrade because they had weird amps in weird locations.

Newer Nissans have a centralized Bose amplifier that receives normal audio signals from a pretty good infotainment head unit.

I had a Q60 with Bose, it sucked and I also thought it'd help to have a mid adjustment so I could turn down the mid-range. I upgraded the stereo pretty easily.

I now have a Titan with a Fender branded stereo in it, sooooo much better than Bose. I actually like it

Add a powered sub, turn treble 2 clicks down from max and be done. Vast improvement, unless you want to replace the speakers, amp, and sub.

It’s time to improve the audio system and back up camera to coincide with the price of the performance model!

Remember, you are buying a Nissan, so don't expect premium components. Even the new M3's and M4's lack premium audio experience. It sounds flat and doesn't have that deeper clean resonance on the low end

But it’s listed at a Premium Price! For 55,000 dollars you should get Premium Equipment!

What I find funny is that I must keep my stereo at almost the highest volume for it to be tolerable. I used to be into loud bass-y sound but I'm ok with the Bose at almost highest volume only.
