Harbor Freight should be able to get you setup I'd think.

I don't know what sort of adapter I'd need. I saw Z1s video but they had some sort of shop air powered pump and I don't have a shop air supply.

I've watched this video before. I don't have a lift and doing this procedure on stands is actually less enticing than paying someone to do it.

Appreciate the link. I've seen videos of this before and doing it on jacks sounds miserable but anything to keep the car away from the stealership lol. Good to see parts in the description but I don't have a shop air supply so I may as well just take it to the dealership

the local dealership quoted me $420.95 for a Manual Transmission Fluid Service. I haven't done that yet and currently at 5,267 miles.

Yeah changing the gear fluid on a manual is a simple drain and fill process. Rear diff would need to be done too.

Did mine at a dealership at 20k and could feel the difference. $300 sounds about right off the top of my head

Just got mine done and yeah I can feel the difference, especially in acceleration and deceleration. The deceleration is just way better, braking into turns feels so much better now.

Just did the trans and diff service myself with 40K+ on the clock. Just like the oil, the diff got changed early and then again at 20k and present. Got the pan and trans fluid from Z1. Got the special tool off Egay. With the pan bolts being aluminum I did get new ones. It's hard for me to tell someone how easy or hard a job is because I've spent my whole life professionally turning a wrench on aircraft (A&P), Cars and motorcycles. With that said, it's not a bad job at all. I have to tell you the drain fluid looked as good as the new stuff. There was minimal wear material on the magnets or in the pan. I cut both filters apart to inspect again for what I believed would be break in material. There was very little and certainly not enough to swap out the pan. As far as it shifting better after the service. That would be like saying how better it pulled after putting a louder exhaust on. In the one pic disregard all that stuff you see in the pan. The filters aren't made to separate from the pan and one of them didn't want to so I filleted it still attached. 30K down the road I'll still do a standard drain and fill. None of my cars get abused or neglected but they do see a lot of severe duty.
