2027( 2026 JDM) Z changes. This info is specific for the Japanese Market but the Manual NISMO and rumored slight front bumper facelift will be global.

The manual NISMO was mentioned at a Las Vegas dealer conference by Nissan exec over the summer but this info is coming from the dealer network in Japan confirming its availability.

Model year changes to the non NISMO include only a small change to the front bumper shape. This is the first time I have heard news of this seems to ne specific to the lower lip area making it more aerodynamic like the NISMO.

The info states there will be no other major interior or equipment changes and Its release in Japan will be Spring 2026.

Production is tentatively scheduled up until July 2026 when new regulations take place. In Japan there is a new regulation being implemented in July of 2026 that limits the decibel level of new cars ( to around 71 decibels as it passes by) The source states it is currently unknown if the Z in Japan will be able to fully adhere to the "phase 3" of the new noise regulations.

Speculation is at least for Japan it could be a short limited model year and like how the Z was when it first was available the Z NISMO will only be their lottery system. Orders for that market are expected to start in November .

The info states that Japan will get a Heritage Edition of its own where as that as been a US marketing thing up the last 2 years.

So 'Advance order are....accepted from November 2025 onwards' means we should see it in the configurator soon? That's global correct?

This news is just for Japan. Their orders according to this start over the next few weeks with spring deliveries.

The US time frame is probably summer

I have to say that I expected this thread to explode. There were so many posts about how Nissan should make a manual NISMO, and now it's announced, but here we are approaching 24 hours from the first post, and this is only comment #7.

Because we have not actually seen nor any reviews yet. Too early, just teasers now.

I'm interested if the manual is an upgraded beefier unit, synchros, etc. plus upgraded clutch; would be a nice upgrade for the Performance with power mods.

the info I posted is what was communicated to the Japanese dealers. If orders start in November there should be additional info in the next week or so. Again I think for the US this is more like a summer of next year thing but we will see.

Im still curious how they are going to implement both sport+ mode and rev matching since it shares the same button on a manual NISMO

I hope they incorporate both. Even my prev 2019 Mustang GT PP2 had both, although menu driven, not physical buttons.

I wonder if the manual Nismo is going to have the big muffler like the performance manual does? I bet the price will start at msrp and no less for awhile. I've got a 2024 that is paid for, and got a big discount on it. I did drive a 6MT performance and it was a blast, but to be out all that extra money for the 2026/2027 would be a hard decision. Especially, as I do really enjoy the current Nismo. What do you current Nismo owners think?

Maybe people already know how much incorrect info is spread. So, now we wait to see what's really true.

Facelift for the standard Z
Interesting. The RZ34 has already seen 3 front bumpers, right?
  1. The original rectangular shape
  2. The NISMO
  3. The Heritage edition
It'll be interesting to see what gets cooked up. My '23 is going to look dated.
