The orange Z was first shown at the Tokyo Auto Show in December ’22. Nissan strongly hinted that both the color and special edition car would be coming this year. The orange Supra was first shown in June of this year.I said nothing about the manual coming out first. That wasnt the point. This is strictly about colors. I dont care that the GTR already had it. The GTR isnt a Z. My point was that it wasnt shown to be a color for the Z until yesterday while the Supra had the orange released a while ago. Same for the new color for the Nismo (I get it was used on other Nissans). I was strictly pointing out that Toyota released first with Nissan to follow, Supra vs Z type of thing. Just seems like Nissan is waiting for Toyota to make the next move so that they can copy.
Well, per Tamura-san:
"Tamura-san explained that Nissan explored the idea of a manual Z Nismo, but the problem was that it would've actually been slower than the base Z.
"To be honest, base car with two pedals [is] faster than Nismo with three pedals," Tamura-san said. "Base, 400hp; quicker than Nismo."
"Time is not important," Tamura-san said. "But some people said Nismo must be quicker than base."
In any case, the Z’s nine-speed automatic transmission has been beefed up for Nismo duty, and Tamura-san said the gearbox is much quicker to upshift and downshift. It's also worth noting that, despite having 420hp and 384lb ft of torque – increases of 20hp and 34lb ft over the base Z – the Nismo lugs around an extra 155 pounds of ballast."

Strongly hinted at and confirmed by the manufacture at a press release are two completely different things. I am going off press releases since they are the only true confirmation that its actually happening. The orange Z was first shown at the Tokyo Auto Show in December ’22. Nissan strongly hinted that both the color and special edition car would be coming this year. The orange Supra was first shown in June of this year.
Thanks, it has been fixed.Thanks. The Weight headers need to be fixed FYI. "Nismo" needs to move over one column.

That bumper, the weight and automatic only are all dissapointing.I still think the front bumper is a disappointment.
