Dump a gallon or 2 of E85 in the tank at fillup. I believe Nissan says an E15 mix is fine so I bet you could push it to E20. That should bring 91 octane up to at least 93 octane. Just check your long term fuel trims to make sure they arent maxing out.

I saw what I think is the 3rd or 4th Z on the road. This time a grey one. Cruising down the 10 east bound this morning.

Just drove by the gas station that is next to work. $5.49 for 91 and diesel. Not sure if that’s better or worse since last time I filled up out here, which was like 6 weeks ago. I feel like it’s worse.

i would be there on sat but they only have Bimmer challenge on Sunday…. Got to keep my 2nd overall in class going until the end of the year…. not a bad drive for me. Buttonwillow is far.

Another vote for auto-x first. Way safer to learn the car and way more technical than a road course. Really helps you learn throttle control coming out of a turn which is where most people lose it on a road course. Come out to Chuckwalla on Nov 10 and you can go for a ride with me to see what...

Has your whole argument been over street use? If so, yes I completely agree with you. The use of 2 piece rotors is only seen on the track.

@Proto Z please don’t take take this wrong but you have a lot more research to do on 2 piece rotors, specifically towards heat dissipation.

I never said the JB4 is junk. I said the base maps are junk and he needed a custom map 6. I run JB4 on one of my cars if that says anything about how I feel about it....

way too small. 9 row is the minimum I would go. 13 is ideal for track use. most derale kits I have seen, are custom. It will have to be a manufacture based custom kit. should be no reservoir on the factory system.

Pretty much all Mishimoto stuff. They have gone downhill these past couple years. Whatever cores they use now are not great, even though they are big. Pay the extra for AMS stuff. It actually does what they say it will do.

Post a log of you doing a pull. I would put money on it that your car is not happy and potentially going to blow up (the turbos at least). And no, its not getting you another 100hp on just 93 octane. Even the graphs they post on their website show map 3 on E30 doing 60whp.
