Then why not make it so that the manual Nismo is faster than the base auto Z? Give it 450hp. His answer makes sense but seems like a cop out and you can tell he is relaying what other execs think and not necessarily what he thinks.
MSRP has to be any day now as there are currently 41 NISMOs at port and a few of them even have dealer ETAs of next week. I wouldnt be surprised if we get reviews pricing and official on sale here in the next 10 days

Apparently the dealers knew the prices already as they got sent invoices by nissan, they were not afraid to tell me the price which actually matched the dealer inventories i found on nissan canada weird how they held on yours since u are getting one

Crazy they're even doing an embargo/hold/media drive events and all that crap again.. the car is almost three years old and barely in the hands of the consumers hahah. They've been building and dragging us along for literally years. Their delay tactics are getting boring
yeah I mean outside of the NISMO diehards it might be a bit of a hard sell. its 15K more than the performance Z and I dont think actual #'s will be shockingly faster. I think its gonna be about 2-3 tenths quicker on average. casuals are going to compare it to a base C8 or a Darkhorse mustang ect at the price. speaking of darkhorse this NISMO is a few hundred bucks more than a nicely equipped one and probably not on the same level performance wise

Curious to see how much Z1 will be selling the NISMO bodykit for as I suspect a few people will just buy the Sport model and throw the NISMO front bumper on it. The Sport Z really does make the most sense as the Performance and NISMO model appear to be overpriced for what you get.
BUT based on the 370z, the NISMO's do seem to hold their value very well. So in the long run it might make the most sense to get the NISMO as you'll make out better in the end with less depreciation.
