Everyone should also get ready for even tighter availability than what we were initially expecting.

If Nissan can't even manage to keep a simple 2 seater on schedule, you better believe when they do go on sale, they will not be producing them in any appreciable quantities.

For those of us in the US, I'd say at least 2 years of ridiculous ADMs.

Nissan really is a mess right now.
Yes, it will take 2 years for the automotive industry to get back to speed.

Maybe I havent been keeping up but I kinda thought summer is the time frame we've had for months now no? Could be that's just the time frame I expected lol
Agree, I had the same understanding. As far as I know it still looks like a July delivery to Aus.

That sucks I would not have any money in the last few minutes of the summer. With the delay might as well keep doing the house projects. Oh well count me in for the 25 / 2026 redesign. 420Z ???

From Spring to Summer, it could be 1 to 30 days of delay.
Anyway, to me, it is not official yet. Just C&D said so.

First in with: "That's it, I'm out!"

Actually I'm not...
I won’t mind trying to drive this thing in winter (it’s hit or miss if we get snow or ice), I’m still in on this car as well

I spoke to a Nissan Corporate employee who happened to be at our local dealership about six weeks ago about the new Z. When I asked about the release date, she looked at me and said “I would not be surprised if it is late summer/early fall”. I was thinking maybe she was being pessimistic. Looks like I was wrong & she was spot on.

ha

I just bought a 2022 Miata RF club
So much fun
I’m out for now
Might trade it on the Z in a couple of years if it’s out by then ?
Yes that's on my short list, will test drive before I lock in to the Z. Hopefully reviews are coming on the new torque adjusting system for 22 MY designed to improve its handling.

I've watched all the 2022 MX-5 reviews I could find and the consensus seems to be that the new KPC (Kinematic Posture Control) feature is a definite positive inclusion that noticeably helps to reduce excessive body roll that the stock ND's are known for, resulting in increased stability.

From what I've read, the KPC feature is disengaged when you turn off the Dynamic Stability/Traction Control
