I love good car news, and believe the Z is a fantastic car that deserves a lot of respect and admiration. I don’t think with 25% tariffs that the trend will last, at all.

Hopefully the new Nissan guy realizes Nissan needs a platform instead of a model and can get them built here. Honda has really taken it to another level. Maybe the new guy can, too.

So 2024 VINs stopped in the 7000’s. The image below is from the window sticker of 5979. not sure what the bottom number is, but the first part looks like a date code…Oct 2024. Is that correct, and if so, is that a ‘birth date?’
there are new 2024’s still out there, sn’s 0### that have Oct and Nov 2023 dates.

I pulled the trigger on the VIN about 100 less than this one, and I’m curious how long it’s been sitting.

Totals sold, but no breakdowns on which model years sold when? I'm sure many sold in 2025 are older 2024s or even left over 2023s? Many dealers are discounting this year across the board.

I always thought my understanding is total sold to “dealers” not consumers, I see the same thing with video games claiming games sold millions, but it’s to the stores for them to sell?

I just got my Z last week after they finally discounted it heavily after sitting in the showroom for a year
