  1. Boosted 6 Intake install

I regret buying the Nismo air intakes, the B6A look cooler, come in a 3" version with an insert, and sound better.
  2. Auto trans performance / Nismo, does it learn how you drive?

I'm still using the factory ATF. Afaik, there is no aftermarket ATF that is safe to use for the 9AT.
  3. Auto trans performance / Nismo, does it learn how you drive?

By cold, I meant the transmission not being up to temp. My bad. When it's actually cold (below 50F), the lurching and sluggishness gets noticeably worse. When it's above that temp and I'm cold starting the car, the transmission is slow but not overtly sluggish.
  4. Auto trans performance / Nismo, does it learn how you drive?

First gear is only useful when coming to a stop or doing launches. Most driving will be in 2-9. On track, I find myself staying between 3 and 5.
  5. Auto trans performance / Nismo, does it learn how you drive?

The transmission sucks if it's cold. When it's warmed up and in sport/sport+, it's significantly better. The lurching during manual shifts disappears once it's warm. If you're not in a rush, wait for the manual nismo.
  6. Anyone driving their Z in the winter weather?

Just installed the Z1 Toe arm brace. Will need to do that and get my damage wheel refinished.
  7. Anyone driving their Z in the winter weather?

Appreciate it, I'm glad my Z is still with me.
  8. Anyone driving their Z in the winter weather?

Luckily this is the only damage. Should be able to get it refinished. Got a wheel and tire warranty when I bought the car, that should be able to cover it. If not, I can take it to a refinishing shop.
  9. Anyone driving their Z in the winter weather?

I know, I know. Most of the ice had melted, but there was a shaded part of the frontage road leading to the on ramp for my commute. I have the OEM Nismo Dunlops.
  10. Anyone driving their Z in the winter weather?

Took my Z out this morning, hit ice, and did a complete 180 and smacked a curb. Minor tire sidewall damage. Going to wash the car and check for more damage later. Most of the ice has melted, but not all of it.
  11. Anyone driving their Z in the winter weather?

Not even going to try taking my Z out. It might do fine on the highways, but surface streets still have a lot of ice
  12. RZ34 Nismo Tires Suggestions

The OE Dunlops are pretty nice on track. I have 2 back to back track days on my Nismo, and once the tires are up to temp, they grip pretty well. I do only have those two HPDE days under my belt along with a few autocrosses, so I am no expert.
  13. Maintenance Schedule and Capacities (PDF)

No dice. Looks like I'll need an adapter of some sort, or likely a different pump.
  14. Maintenance Schedule and Capacities (PDF)

The tip of the fill nipple for the pump only got about 1/8" into the Z1 fill adapter. I was almost 100% sure it would come out and pour A/T fluid everywhere, so I didn't try. The Z1 video didn't specify what adapter they used on their fancy fluid pump that used shop air.
  15. Maintenance Schedule and Capacities (PDF)

I watched the Z1 video and bought that exact pump from Harbor Freight. It had bad fitment to the fill tool and I didn't want to risk stranding my Z in my friend's garage for who knows how long, so I gave up. Wondering if anyone on this forum has done this job before, and if so, what tools they...
  16. Maintenance Schedule and Capacities (PDF)

Seems like they have a manual transmission. I have a Nismo, A/T only (for now).
  17. Maintenance Schedule and Capacities (PDF)

Has anyone changed the A/T fluid yet? I tried, but the hand pump I got from Harbor Freight did not attach to the Z1 A/T drain/fill tool. I already have the fluid and tool, and I'd rather not pay the dealership for something I can do myself.
  18. Turning off pumped in engine noise?

I get that same booming sound too when the ANC is running and I cold start the car. I got ASE disabled while getting the front crash harness fixed during the recall campaign.
  19. 2027 NISSAN Z (Refresh Model) Specs & Gallery

My state requires 2 plates, and I just dont run a front plate. No one cares.
