These look great! Hopefully a resistor works, but I am reluctant to risk the air bag light.
Yes, in the Performance, manually adjustable.Do the OEM seats (in Performance if differnt) have lumbar support - that is big for me. Disappointing to hear many don't like them.
That looks absolutely amazing brother!Pretty sure Nismo recaros from a 370Z will plug in. The wire harness on both cars should be the same offering connections for power to move the seat, heat, airbag sensor and seat belt.
The Nismo recaros will only need connections for airbag sensor and seat belt the rest will be unused. Worst case scenario if the seats dont have the same connector for the airbag, you can try this very cheap but effective work around.
That said, I just swapped out my factory seats this weekend...this is the result and im pretty stoked about it. These seats, brackets and rails are also direct fitment for the 370z FYI

I might try that myself, have an arthritic hip and usually after driving more than 45 minutes it starts throbbing, looks like the plastic base might be causing it?I have been okay with the seats since I got a memory foam mat to sit on. Not great, but cushions the metal and plastic on the base well.![]()

So what is the difference, if any, of these Nismo Recaros vs the 370Z V2 Recaros, mount-wise and electrical connections? My guess the mountings are identical but not sure of the wiring adaptability. The Recaro's in the Nismo are extremely comfortable. Should be a easy swap. FYI they're not power seats, but still have excellent manual adjustments.

No need for additional resistor/relay. The Recaro baseframe already includes side airbag wire to cancel the stock one. You also need to attach the seat occupant sensor to the Recaro to avoid airbag warning ?Very nice... What did you do about the airbag connection? Resistor?
Quick question as you mentioned these seats are good for cars like this with a low driving position - do you mean that these maintain the low position or that they let you adjust it? My main issue with the stock seats in my proto Z seems to be that the seats are just too low and don't have any real height adjustmentNo need for additional resistor/relay. Unfortunately, these don’t have height adjustment either. But it is a tad higher than stock, yet still maintains the low driving position.Quick question as you mentioned these seats are good for cars like this with a low driving position - do you mean that these maintain the low position or that they let you adjust it?
