Only 84 cars delivered in AUS, this number includes some Proto Spec cars to customers and the rest are dealer demos, no performance models to any customers yet

No dates, Nissan Australia has dropped the ball as far as customer updates go, the last we heard was that they had 1200 orders and hoped to supply them within 12 months or sooner.

Yes, although it's an auto even though I ordered a manual. I only got allocated due to a cancellation and they'd previously told me I'd missed out on a proto altogether.

I have only had it for a week. The things I like the most are the looks and the engine. I work 7 days a week so I haven't had a chance to go on any spirited drives to see how it handles much and there's also a long run-in period which recommends keeping it under 4k rpm. It has heaps of power even under 4krpm. I may have accidently gone to around 6krpm once or twice. The rear end loses traction quite easily which is good and bad. I think it's absolutely gorgeous and I often find myself just standing there looking at it in the garage.

The most annoying things are that you can't see the infotainment screen when it's in direct sunlight and as far as I can see there's no outside temperature displayed anywhere (there may be a setting I haven't found yet). The reverse camera is crap but at least it has one. In standard mode it sounds like nothing, in sport mode it sounds great (which only the auto gets). I generally like keeping my cars stock but if I decide to keep this long term an exhaust would definitely be the first thing I do (followed by tires).

Well I'm 99% sure I'm going to bail on the Z now, still want to see one in person, and test drive though. Got delivery of my new motorbike today (indian scout rogue - black smoke midnight) and I'm pretty sure I'll pick up the new civic type R fl5 (put deposit down Dec 1 and told they should be here Feb/march - which is much better than the Z ordering experience so far)

Those are the guys that sell $400k of tickets to win a $90k car aren't they?
Probably, all in the name of saving the world/saving the children.

They say for veteran's. I heard only <10% goes to charity. I am surprised they don't get shut down. Guess there is a demand for people winning cool cars. Most probably don't even care about the charity bit.
