Just got off the phone,

Apparently the ship with their demo is arriving on the 19th, with viewership available by the end of the month.

As far as swapping my auto for a manual, not possible as all the Proto’s have been made. He said he believed they were all in the country already but that doesn’t seem right.
Disappointing but it is what it is.
??‍♀??‍♀??‍♀??‍♀??‍♀??‍♀??‍♀??‍♀
Feel like I’m banging my head against a brick wall
One dealer says they are all made
Another says they are still making them
One says they are here
Another says they haven’t left yet
Social media says they are on the ship
One dealer says Protos and demos only first
Another says a mix
One dealer says arrival by Oct
Another Jan next year
I could go on but you get the picture

Is it any wonder why we are all getting frustrated …there is absolutely 0 credible information coming out of Nissan Aus to customers, even though we all put our money down

Did we not all just see footage from late last week of Protos being loaded into a ship?

We did…but who’s to say all of them are on it.
I mean financially it would make sense if they all were…but at this point nothing surprises me

There’s slim to zero chance that every Proto allocation is on board but this dealer was suggesting that none were!

One car company doesn't need to book out the entire ship, it's no different than booking a cruise for yourself.

You me both.

I spent 35 minutes on the phone with Nissan Customer Service this afternoon enquiring about time frames. It took a few attempts but I finally got hold of a helpful woman who dug through bulletins (most recent being June) and after a long chat with her colleagues she came back with:

“No Z Coupes have been built yet for the Australian customer base and it’s unlikely that we’ll receive any this year.”

I'm not sure if this is any more credible than what dealerships have been telling us but at least it seems like honest information.

What a shit show.

How's one to make heads or tails of all this given the massive swings in information being given.

This is just next level.

I'm bloody positive no one has anything even resembling an idea and all of us will likely get a random call out of the blue saying that our cars have arrived and it's time to pay up.

With speculation these idiots are sworn to secrecy though. Tell you what, the only secret here is how they manage to turn a quid running an operation in this shoddy fashion.

Whoever said you couldn't make this shit up on here had the right of it. The closer we get to arrival the looser this shit gets. Seems to defy reason.

You’ve nailed it! Nissan Japan was forced to layoff their English translators so stop asking questions, your car will arrive when it’s ready. Just sit back and relax you impatient fucks.

Here I was thinking we'd all be close to taking collection and kissing this group adieu, but no, we all linger on. You lot waiting on coupes might still be here next year. I'll have to pop in and say G'day ?

Are you and West Aussie using the same dealer?
