Nice. I actually have a deposit in the GR Corolla as soon as I found out I got allocated an auto proto (prob three years before I can get one). At least the exhaust is suppose to sound better on an Auto. ?. On a positive note the car is supposedly getting prepped for delivery at the dealership.
Yeah I had a deposit for a Corolla as well, couldn’t afford both unfortunately and was sick of waiting. And hate to break it to you but I’m pretty sure the Aus auto’s don’t have the better sounding exhaust from what I’ve heard

Yeah unfortunately none of the media AT cars have the smaller better sounding valved muffler as advertised in other markets.

But more importantly.. your Z is at the dealership now?!

Am I flooding this thread with stats posts?
Should I hold off, or post new stats every time I get an update?

Hi All
Just checked out this auto proto in Honolulu
The car looks great in the flesh, this one sold and an Auto, sold for 10k over RRP.
Owner has paid for it but dealer cannot deliver due to the recall for the auto
Once again car looks fantastic

Front number plate holder is narrower on this one compared to what we have been seeing in Aus. Will need to get my hands on one of these...

Well said!

And fwiw, my experience is as you have said- my dealer has kept me updated and I've received all of the critical info already, ready for a September delivery :)

I think you were referring to the Quarantine screening delays for BMSB?
Shouldn't affect this first vessel too much. :)
Easy to be positive and comfortable when you know yours is on its way…especially when some have had deposits down for over a year

Updated stats -
Getting some good numbers now :)

Stand up job on the charts….what is most interesting to me is the numbers per state.
I mean it’s very possible that many Aussies haven’t found us yet…but still WA and QLD leading the way over states with 4 times the population, is very interesting

Did you like the colour in person…it’s been a debatable point, I’ve always loved it

Good question, as in some photos the color looks deep and dark, in the flesh I personally thought it was a bit too light.

Got a call on Monday saying the car was at the dealers compound. I’m anticipating another call about the auto issue lol. Although I called Nissan Australia last week about the auto recall but they told me there was no recalls for the z.

Well it looks like good news for at least one of us…although I would be on tenterhooks about that AT , it’s definitely listed, but who knows maybe the Aus models are not affected ?‍♀
