Hey everyone,

First post here
Next weekend I’m planning to test-fit my old setup from my 2011 370Z onto my new 2024 Nissan Z.
The old setup
Front: 275/35/19 (don’t remember the offset, but it fit perfect on the 370)
Rear: 325/30/19
I just picked up the Z, so I’m still learning about it
I know the 325 in the rear is pretty aggressive, so I’m curious if anyone has tried something similar or knows what to expect fitment-wise. also hope the bronze burn complimente the pasion red.
Like I said before, this is a test fit, so don't burn me at the stake. 😁

Appreciate any input

Welcome! And congrats on the RZ34!

Bronze, light or dark, works on everything, imo.

Cant say yes or no, but someone here probably can. All depends on wheel width and offset. I believe the fender flares on the NISMO eat up just a tiny bit of inner clearance than the Sport and Perf without.

Was concerned about circumference difference (VDC issues), but the 275/35 and 325/30 are almost identical.

The width and offset should be stamped or molded into the back somewhere. Please let us know how this goes. Don’t know if I’ve seen a 325 rear yet.

I’ve been exploring different tire and wheel options, primarily using Google A.I.,https://www.fitmentindustries.com/, https://martiniworks.com/, and discounttire.com for my Sport Z. With all the different variables (sizes, wheel styles, brands, offsets, clearances, heights, etc.) it can get pretty convoluted but it’s been interesting. One thing I quickly learned was how surprisingly heavy the stock Z Sport wheels happen to be.

@loiroz - how did the test fitting go?

Did the 275 work on the front? Wheel dimensions would also be helpful.

I ran 10.5+22 wheels front with 275/35/19 and 11+18 with 305/30/19 in the rear. I’d say there are plenty of clearance in the rear with the 305 so I’m pretty sure 315 will work, not sure about 325 though but I think with more camber it wouldn’t be much of an issue.(I ran 2.2 camber in the rear for reference)

Had to reschedule because the front wheel studs on my 370Z are longer, so the OEM lug nuts don't work with the aftermarket wheels. Just waiting until I get some time off to try it again, but this time with 10mm spacers. or shorter stubs.

@loiroz - hahah sorry to hear its always something when it comes to cars.

@Nice boat very cool. Any rubbing on the fronts? Did you need longer studs for 10.5 up front?

You have a Nismo, but here's my fitment (posted elsewhere already) with the lighter Nismo V2 'square' 10.5" +23 good fit, but if you need more than 275s all around, need camber arms or fender rolls at least. No spacers.

@trackratZ I only have a Sport and I want to keep my ride height as stock as possible so I will NOT be lowering it. I am attempting to keep a "GT+" motif.

I am deciding between 275/40 R18 or 245/45 R18 squares tire sizes. (To keep tire diameters the same)

My tires are 245/45 R18 squared now BUT not cannot be rotated as the front and rear wheel offsets are very different so I will be getting new wheels.

Logically, I would go 18x10's all around IF I could fit the 275's. BUT there is a wheel I really like but its only available in 18x9.5 or 10.5 so I am trying to figure out if I can even get 10.5's in the front without fender modification.

Thanks for everyone's help!

Understand, for 10.5" you will have to go higher than +20 to fit 275s up front, there are others here with +15 but that requires camber arms at least, at front. Rears are much more forgiving, lots of room for wider range of offsets.

@trackratZ Thank you for this info.

The wheel is question is 18x10.5 + 22, so it looks like I will be in the clear.

Do you have rubbing or had to adjust your fender to fit your wheels?

Thank you so much!

No rubbing with 275s squared on the +23, note each tire brand has slight differences in tread with and shoulder, I have RE71RZs. Yours a smidge shallower but should still fit, front is the limitation. I'm only on Swift springs all else stock, no fender mods. When tried on 285s they rub up front FYI.

Thank you so much I'm going to try 18x10.5 on 275/40 R18 and see how it goes.

I'm envious of the new Fuel Tank design on the updated Z's. Wonder how hard a retrofit would be.

How are the RE71RZs?

I'm thinking of doing 285/35 front & 305/30 in my rear, OEM wheels

I'm wondering about the size too, if you have any thoughts.

Since the RZs are new and great reviews so far I don't doubt they will be an improvement over the RSs which I've run plenty, good wear, doesn't cycle out too early, predictable handling. My set is waiting install, just want to wear out the current RSs, one or two more track days.
