This ridiculous fuel feed problem on a car makes us all look dumber. Nissan should be ashamed.

So dumb! Happened to me twice now I can’t believe this happens even when you don’t track the car. On a Nismo no less. Nissan should replace our tanks with the 2027 baffled design for free at this point.

What's your dash warning light for?

The fuel starvation issue is under high G cornering on the track, this is something else...

What's your mod list? Tune?

Your car still has powertrain warranty so let the dealership sort it out. Seems electrical to me. Could be ignition or throttle body related.

Dash light is just for low windshield fluid and car is bone stock. Yup I scheduled an appointment for this Saturday at the dealership. Only worry is that they won’t be able to replicate it and help fix the issue.

The good thing is you got it on video. Make sure you bring it in at a similar fuel level and not on E, no reason to give them that as an excuse.

I bet they'll even top off your washer fluid for you :ROFLMAO:

Does it happen consistently at every throttle level? Every gear?

Doesn’t always happen. Has happened twice recently. Both times at about 3/4 tank but not sure what triggered it. When it’s doing it it happens in every gear at high RPMs. If I shift before 5k RPM it avoids it.

Today though I could go wide open throttle to redline with no issues.

Do we know if the traction control light always illuminates when it intervenes on the Z? It almost looks like it’s holding you back. Maybe the traction control is malfunctioning? With my Golf I could feel it hold me back a bit even without illuminating the light.

I think the culprit is the Sam's Club gas. Sam's is infamous for having old 91 with lots of detergents causes knock a lot with these cars. VR30 is a fuel snob. Drive to empty, go to a Shell or Exxon station and fill up (on 93 if possible) and I bet the car no longer pulls timing.
