@Will-Stillen does the piggy back mod have any kind of customizable settings? Or is it strictly plug and play? Also, does the app pull telemetry and send it to the phone or record data to the phone? Is the app android auto compatible meaning show the app on the cars screen.

Hey,
The tuner will come with 7 maps. They're all preset maps that have been loaded specifically to the mods of your car. Basically the maps are just adjusting how much power you want the chip to release. So map 0 is stock, maps 3 or 4 are mid maps, and then 7 would be the hot map for the max amount of power the chip can release.

The app is basically so you do not have to get out pop the hood and change the map directly. It also has a warm up timer basically freezing the chips power until the engine is up to temp. However the app does show any type of live data at this time.
It's something we are looking into but I do not know when or if that is coming.

Right okay. I forgot this chip doesn't plug into the OBD port so how would it grab telemetry. Thanks!

Thanks for the great info Will! I have mine installed. Along with my Stillen catback comp exhaust. Is there an update I should be running with my TruControl tuner? Thanks!

I'm actually interested in that exhaust. Is it too loud?

The Stillen competition exhaust is perfect volume wise. Especially, if you keep stock down pipes. However, it does drone in the higher gears at low rpms. I have a current Nismo.

Curious if there is any issues running this in Canada? I know with past cars I’ve dealt with we sometimes need special tunes due to our shittier gas.

Honestly the sound of the Stillen comp cat back with stock DPs is perfect. Sounds great at idle, great tone and volume isn’t excessive IMO. Yes the drone is there if you’re staying in like 4th or 5th I think it’s negligible until you shift up it’s gone. Definitely a noticeable difference in power with my exhaust and stillen tuner. Still need updated maps with the installs.
other thing I’ll note is the cool “stillen” bracket under the car sits pretty low when you have lowering springs or coilovers but It looks awesome. I went with the carbon tips and very happy with the look

I was wondering why I never got a response from Will about the maps boost psi. I think I've found online that Map 7 is 3.5 psi and every map is 0.5 psi stronger than the next starting from 1-7.

Very clean install dude. I don't know what the nismo max PSI is, but the regular Z is 15 psi. On map 7 I'm hitting almost 20 PSI with the trucontrol on 93 gas.

Thanks for that info! The Nismo is around 16 psi so I think I'll stay away from Map 7. I think Map 5 is better for me especially with the upgraded intake and Stillen Comp exhaust.
