They do still show the full category ratings if you click on the red box...
Not sure how I missed that box. Although I may be on my ipad when looking at stuff like this, and I've found that on some websites things don't show up if I'm holding it in portrait orientation. If I'm on Z1's I can't see any product pics on the individual product pages unless I flip it sideways/landscape.

Thanks for the info!

You're quite welcome, it's a big help to tire geeks like me!

Always been a Michelin guy myself.

I drive my sports cars year round even in cold weather (as long as the roads are dry). I do not track so any all-season Michelin's are what I go for.

When these Potenza's burn out I am leaning towards Michelin PS A/S 4
What i have.

I noticed no one mentioning the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6. Any thoughts?

Thinking about these, Continental (my favorite brand) or another set of Bridgestones.

I posted on these back on August 29th in this thread and I'm currently running them on my Z Performance. I'm normally a Conti guy as well, but after doing a considerable amount of research I decided to give the Goodyears a try.

I've been extremely happy with the Goodyears so far. 2k miles on them and 0 regrets, I would definitely recommend them. Take a look at the tire rack recent comparison test, these tires did very well and seemed to best fit what I was looking for in a performance tire.

I burned through my Briadgstone in 9000 miles, Going to get Michilene PSs for my next set of tires.
If you’re talking tires that came on the car, that tire would be different than the one you buy at a tire store. There are a few Michelins that are the same, but typically the tire manufacturer has a special tire for the cars coming out of the plant.

I usually run Michelin PS A/S 4's but have been looking at comparable tires for my Performance. I ran across the Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate and noticed they get some pretty high marks and are somewhat comparable to the Conti DWS 06's and PS A/S 4's.

Have any of you ran Exhilarates? And what were your impressions?

The only tire I use on my dailies is the Michelin PSAS4. They have one of the best rain ratings of any tire, and more grip than most other brands' summer max performance tire... and they last 60-80k miles. I had a set on my Challenger Redeye that lasted over 30k miles and I could cut low 3s 0-60s on the street with them. My Z only has 600 miles on it, but come November or so, the Dunlops will get replaced with Michelins.

For track work, I use either Goodyear Racing Eagles (slicks) or Cup 2s.

Right now, I am looking at the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and the Michelin Pilot Cup 2.

Is there really any difference between the 2 tires? The Michelin Pilot Cup 2 cost a bit more because it's a better tire than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S?

I see a vast majority of sports cars and hyper cars using Michelin tires, so I will stick to the Michelin tire brand.

For almost everyone the PS4S is a better daily / street tire. It would be quieter and more versatile, meaning it does well in both dry & wet weather. Cup2’s are more track focused and really only designed for dry weather.

Price wise, I like the Conti ECS2 on a Z. A very poised drivers tire. But I live in CA and we only get occasional downpours. Our weather is mainly hot & dry, sometimes it rains but hardly enough to need a wet weather tire.

Michelin is always a good choice. Provided you can afford the $$ upfront for a set, they wear very well. You could easily get 50K out of a set on a new Z.

We now run Michelin on my wife’s daily (Honda Pilot SUV) and they are so much quieter and handle better than anything else we have tried in 150K miles of owning it.

BTW- A bit of a moan & more info on problems we had with a set of Khumo’s we ran… They wore unevenly and were terrible in terms of noise and handling. Even with warranty replacements, we got less than 30K miles before we had to ditch them. A SUV is heavier than a Z, so maybe it’s an unfair comparison. Overall I’d say with tires you are only getting what you pay for!

Yes we have a lifetime alignment deal on the car, so the unbalanced wear wasn’t from our setup. I’ve heard that others have had better experiences lately with Khumo ECSTA on a sports car, but I’m never putting them on my cars again.

On my 17 STi Limited I run Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4 and I really like them year round, they provide very good performance, I live in central Texas and we get summers that are just a few degrees shy of Hell's preferred temperature and our winters can be mild or can be wild, just like a box of chocolates, never know whatcha gon git.
Anyways, as I was researching hew tires for my 25 Zed Performance 6mt on TireRack I came across this Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them and how they compare to the Michelins. I barely rolled over 1k miles on the Z and I'm ready to donate this Potenzas S007 to my nearest goodwill store they are straight up doodoo.

I've done this exact swap (nearly). My Challenger came with all season Pirrellis and swapped to a Michelin AS4. I recognize that there's a huge difference between an 800hp V8 car at 5,000lb vs. a Nissan Z with 400hp at 3,700lb. However, the tire compounds are pretty much the same.

I'll just say that if you think your Potena S007 is a doodoo tire, then the new Pirrelli might actually be worse. The Pirrellis are notoriously hard tires. To get them to perform any kind of way, they have to be excessively heated up. Wet weather performance is a punchline, as I have felt safer on some drag radials than on Pirrelli all season tires. Again, they're extremely hard and they don't communicate pretty much anything to the driver other than the excessive humming tire noise. This hard nature affects both the cornering feel as well as braking and wet weather traction. If you do some research, I think you'll find it readily apparent that the Pirrelli tires tend to have sudden loss of control issues with wet roads combined with increased lateral load (aka, hard turns in the wet). And no, I'm not talking about rear slip, but the fronts. On one occasion, I was navigating a round-a-bout in the Challenger at around 35mph. The car hit a puddle, lost all steering and glided right off the road. This occurred when the car had around 800 miles on it. The Pirrellis were gone before 1,200 miles.
