Drove from Lake Tahoe to Las Vegas August 31st to join the ZAAR rally.

I now officially claim to be the first RZ34 to drive the Extraterrestrial Highway by Area 51! (until someone proves me wrong....:crying:)

And shortly after leaving the Little A'Le'Inn, found some disguised actual aliens blocking the highway! (I know I saw a flying saucer above but must have been "cloaked" since my dashcam could not see it...😀)

Love the wheels, one reason I got the sport is because of the wheels! OK missed out on all the performance stuff but I am not a pedal pusher. Great pics.

It cost me $200 per wheel to have them powdercoated "polished aluminum" at a shop in N. California. A lot cheaper than new wheels.
Yeah sorry to minimize your cool trip, but the wheels are sick. It’s a Sport upgrade for people like me who like the traditional GT look.

I'll never understand what many people see in dark colored wheels THAT HIDES ALL THE SWEET DETAILS THAT A LIGHTER COLOR DOESN'T. I love that you made the car much better looking by doing that with the wheels.

Looks like an interesting and fun road trip! Never made it over that way, but I always made sure to stop in Baker when travelling from Palmdale to Vegas for some Alien Jerky.

Those wheels look great!🤩

I feel the same way! IMO, black wheels hide definition. Although the facets of the spokes do highlight the design, I feel that black does a great job at cancelling those out. I'm more of a bronze wheel person, but I want to get mine done in a gunmetalish bronze color for my Bayside Blue Z when it's time for new tires.
