yeah the car exists in some form and initially heard it was a 2026 but was delayed due to the Tariffs and financial considerations. Its not part of the initial 2026 internal dealer order guide ( the midnight purple special edition is) so the assumption is it is 2027 model year or some type of mid year 2026 introduction?

I feel like they do this stuff on purpose sometimes just for marketing.

Don't have a manual so reviewers and fans can say "WHAT WHY NO MANUAL!?" and they have to buy / drive an auto talking the whole time about how they wish there was a manual.

Then a few years later they can bring in the manual so everyone can go "YEAH THEY HAVE A MANUAL NOW!" and get people jazzed about it and some people with an auto will trade it in for a manual.

going to be interesting to see if and how they integrated Sport+ mode into the manual while keeping the rev match button as is. its doable through an in dash setting possibly like changing the cluster display.

If they leave it out you arnt getting the full nismo experience as Sport+ actually changes engine timing . also I wonder if there will be a little power bump to compensate of the manual being slower acceleration

I’d say slower acceleration comes down to skills. There are multiple videos online showing manual R34’s winning races against Huracan’s, ZR1’s, etc (all same power).

I'm not sure offering a manual in the Nismo and a future Q50 is going to satisfy the customer base completely. The car journalists will find something else to not like about these future models. Plus, with the manual Nismo, the pricing will be back at MSRP or above, which no one will be willing to spend. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I would be bitter but happy for the next guy I guess. Manual was a must for me. Too bad the trade value of a performance is so pathetic. I paid almost 10k under sticker for mine and I still highly doubt it would bring mid 30s for trade. In fact, out of curiosity I ran the numbers in KBB and my performance with under 5k miles would be lucky to bring low 30s. Sad. Dealers rarely offer trades at the kbb “good” or “excellent” range no matter if your car is spotless.

lets hope people actually buy it instead of the lip service. "i would buy if it came in a manual"
Unless it truly disappoints. I am a hardcore manual transmission driver. I switched from a MT performance to the Nismo. At this point, after driving the Nismo for a while, I couldn't switch back to what I had before. So... the Nismo manual will have to be somehow equal to its AT counterpart or... better...
We shall see...

Yep, hope it happens, best of both worlds - very good Nismo susp, plus a manual! Let's see what pricing lands at, if not too outrageous I will seriously consider. Gearing will probably be adjusted too, upgraded LSD?

Yeah, hopefully people will be interested. My intention was to get the 6 MT if it was available at the time, but I went ahead and got the 24 Nismo and I have no regrets, the car is a blast to drive. The conditions would have to be pretty spectacular for me to do a trade. But as we know, these conditions are few, far, and in between.
