It's been a while since I purchased a new car just for me. A long while... and yes it was a lot of money, and yes it is meant to be driven and enjoyed, and yes, I promised myself I wasn't going to turn into one of those guys.

And yet, here we are.

...I get a little anxiety parking my car anywhere because I don't just anyone in my town to park anywhere near my car, people here don't give a shit about another person's property.
Same issue with me. I just don't take it anywhere if I can't guarantee I'll have a "safe" parking space.

I went through the same thing. It goes away.
I don't think I will ever push it real aggressive like I did my FK8 Type R. Until I get a nice aftermarket wing for downforce im keeping it real chill tame.

For parking - I would love to have powered (front, rear and side) roll bars that would extend out and up center of door / bumpers

i love my nerf bars on my truck - No door dings after 12+ yrs.

I wish I could say the same thing. I'm the only one at home that tries to keep it safe. That means: parking far away from where most cars are parked. My truck has a few dings...

Not sure if it’s legit or perspective, but whatever that is beside you is a midsize at best, and it looks like the Z would fit inside it.

I hear you. I only drove mine about 200 miles since I bought it three weeks ago. Almost every time I drive it I get people tailgating me and stopping too close behind me at stop signs. It seems that some people dislike new cars on the road.

It's a Toyota Venza, and yes it is a mid size SUV. Must be perspective, or my phone's camera, but ya, the Z looks tiny. Still goes pretty fast though.

When I see people with nice cars park like that I get it. When someone has a POS and parks like that they can go to hell 🤣

Besides, you didn't at all, in any way shape or form limit the number of parking spaces in that lot.

As long as you don't do this I don't think anyone cares.

Hello,
I only put 230 miles on the odometer of my new 2025 Z the past two weeks. I love the car but I'm bit worried driving it. Not sure if it's the raw power or the expensive price paid for it that's making me feel worried.
I haven't driven a sports car since I sold my last Z ten years ago. Is it a matter of getting used to my new Z or is it the worry that I'm driving an expensive fast car?
Please share your thoughts.
Thanks
Went from a Mustang to the Z a year ago. I was nervous for awile too, I feel like it's probably normal. New control layout, new sightlines, new engine and handling, new transmission, most expensive car I've bought.

But it goes away and now I'm jusf as comfortable as I was with the Mustang. Just be safe as you learn the car. It's a blast to drive even just a bit aggressively.

For all the times I chuffed in disapproval when I saw someone parked a long distance from a store, just to be away from other drivers, or taking an end spot like this one and expanding it a bit, I get it now. I mean, I understood it then, but everyone is so busy, full of what matters in their day that something like a door ding isn't even on their radar. And that lack of attention can't be undone easily. Once a door is chipped, is it ever really fixed? And don't even start with dents. I've begun the process of logging in my mind every 'safe' spot in my town, ones that have extra room, no option to be dinged etc. It's tiring :)
