Curious about Z owners with higher mileage. Any issues or complaints?

Don't know if you consider 7,200 miles on a year old 2024 Perf high milage but no issues at all.

I’m in the same boat as Zilla. I drive mine for work and still only have 6500 on my 24 performance. It’s gotta take some time to get this baby to 100k miles and be high mileage.

All jokes aside, I feel that they are pretty dependable unless they’re abused. Most issues that the q50s had were related to faulty turbos later on or block issues, both which should be covered by Nissan unless you’re going for big power.

2023 Z | Performance Trim | MT | 33,xxx Miles here.

Things have been stress-free. Mostly just fluid changes.

The worst thing was dealing with abnormally quick tire wear.
Nipping this in the butt with quality tires and an alignment will keep the good times coming.

  • Did both recalls (bracket and harness)
  • Replaced tires at about 9900 miles
  • Replace oil and filter after break in and now every 6 months.
  • Into the detailer once a year for touch up.
  • No issues other than hatch poppers and a creaking noise developing at the clutch pivot point.
Not particularly high milage or extreme use. Doing fine.

9950 miles. 2024 Sport 6MT.

Awesome, except for the seats get uncomfortable after about an hour of blasting down I-80 from NJ to Ohio. Then again, it isn't a touring car!

Got rid of the freeze-dried oil stock tires for all-weather Continentals. (245/45 front and 275/40 rear). I accidentally eat crayons, so I still break the @$$ end loose even with the new rubber and a LSD.

I guess that's a feature, not a shortcoming....

I’m at 30,000 miles no complaints no mechanical issues upgrading fuel system and turbos as we speak.

23 Performance manual approximately 14000 miles. It was preowned it had about 9000 miles on it when purchased. So far no real issues did replace stock tires and get oil changes every 3K.

It cannot be understated how awful the S007's are. 13,000~ miles on my 2024 and I'm about to pull the trigger on some PS4S. Factory size up front, 10mm wider in the rear to help with the lack of traction. I'm hoping between better and wider tires I'll be fine.

With PS4S, you will be OK.

You will absolutely be fine, the factory rubber was a gross miscalculation on the Z. The vehicle drives completely differently with quality tires (Conti ExtremeContacts, PS4s seem especially well-suited).

I've ran PS4S on other cars in the past and had pretty good luck with them. I debated RE-71RS' since I don't have to worry about low temps where I am at currently when I drive it, but idk if I really need that kind of performance on the street and the occasional auto cross. Trade off on road noise didn't seem like one I want to make.

I swapped mine out for Continental Extreme Contract 02 night and day compared to the S007!

I swear Nissan went for these tires to make the car more tail happy. I can't for the life of me wonder why any manufacturer would willingly opt for those things otherwise (though it was likely a cost saving measure if I had to guess.)

These S007's are like ice skating. Untuned with only the nismo intakes my car will break loose in 1st and 2nd (3rd as well if the roads are wet.) The lower the temps got the worse it became. in 50F/12.2~C full throttle they wouldn't hook at all. Granted the lower temps probably had something to do with that, but I was also running the rears at 24 PSI.
