I did the same after a year. The Z was fine, but after having it for a while. The WOW factor wasn't there anymore. The Z got the looks and was fun to drive, but I couldn't get over the poor seats and marginal Bose system.
Sold the Z to a private party, and it went to a good home. Took a hit on...
I saw my first legacy Z in the wild yesterday. It must have been really new, as it had the paper CA DMV plate. I have to say the front end of the Z looks so much better on the legacy edition. I'm surprised Nissan has not changed all the Z models to that front end.
Got to agree, the Bose system doesn't do the car justice. Sadly it's one of the reasons I had to let the Z go. Currently upgrading to the HK system in a 2026 BMW Z4. Don't get me wrong, I love the Z and I'm happy when I see one in the wild. I just miss the luxury and comfort plus performance of...
I’m doing the opposite. I just sold my 2024 Z performance manual. Previous to the Z I bought a BMW M240i because I couldn’t get a Z without an ADM and the specs I wanted.
Even though I enjoyed the luxury of the BMW I missed the manual transmission.
A year or so later I found a Z with my specs...
As I posted before, I love the car-hate the seat. Anybody out there swapped a Nismo Recaro seat into a 2024 performance manual? I know I would loose the electric adjustment and heated seat but I think it would be worth it. I've been told it fits and is basically plug and play. Any opinions...
I'm in the same boat. I just can't get comfortable in the new Z seats. I've tried every adjustment I can think of. I hate to say it but this might be a deal breaker on keeping the car.
I don't follow the Z world that much but does anybody know if any custom seats are being produced that are plug and play? Love the car but the seats are just OK. Wish Nissan would had offered a seat upgrade.
I’ve had my 2024 Z performance manual almost seven months. Got it 2K under MSRP which felt like a win at the time. Wish I would have waited a couple of months as prices dropped especially out of state.
That said, no regrets. The silver/ black combo was really hard to find so I jumped on it. Got...
All in all ,not a bad experience. Found the car at a dealer in the LA area via the internet. It was quite hard to find the silver/ black top combination I wanted. Got it 2K under sticker and pushed a bit and they threw in the mats. Flew down and drove it home to the bay area. The only negative...
Getting ready to do my first oil change at 1500 miles. Looking for thoughts on which oil and weight. 2024 performance manual. All stock and will not be doing any track days. SF Bay area so not to hot or to cold. I will be adding a undershroud and deciding between the Z1 or the CZP. Any thoughts...
