They do not use "China" glass. They mostly use Fuyao & Pilkington which are both manufactured in Ohio and tier 1 OEM suppliers.Safelite does not use a Nissan OEM windshield they use aftermarket crap from China. I would take my car to a local shop that will install an OEM windshield and just pay the difference. My daughter has a Nissan rogue safelite did her windshield and after six months I’m already having issues with the molding inside and out. I have a 66 Chevy C-10 Safelite would not even install the windshield because they said it would leak. I use a local Shopp and payed out-of-pocket and haven’t had any issues. Unfortunately, anytime a windshield is replaced on a car it’s never the same, your chances are much greater of getting it right with a OEM windshield.
