Why are Nismo seats designed with no pull to access the rear cubbies???

This makes me curious if all he hardware is already inside the seat and adding a cable and the latch would work 🤔🤔
I’m actually noticing some seats without this lever in the shop’s gallery. Not sure how standard it really is anymore. I just know that I didn’t even think to ask for that feature when I had the seats made.

The answer is simple, I have aftermarket Recaro seats. They’re also heated by the way. It’s odd they would remove a feature that comes standard on Recaro seats.
I agree, it's weird they would provide a knocked-down version of an off-the-shelf part for a car in 2026 (2027?) with an MSRP of $65K. BUT it's also a $65K car that has no remote start, hatch opener on the fob, etc... Things that Nissan's $22K econobox has standard. One theory is all the little details adds weight (electric seats, etc...not remote start or a hatch button on the fob). My opinion, they replace the front strut bar with aluminum and they'd have an extra 50 lbs to play with. That thing is a beast.

I'd take heated seats and a latch over the 10 million layers of mats in the boot and the Bose speaker that does absolutely nothing

I'm pretty sure all those layers also have something to do with the Bose Sub sounding muffled.

One of the many problems with it. Planning on making a video soon on how to make it way better for $7

My OCD just can’t ignore the poverty-buttons and filler trim pieces on such a pricy vehicle so filling them all in has been the running theme for my modification plan. Spare tire, rear fog light, heated seat switches… 2nd goal has been losing some weight. The aftermarket seats are a lot lighter than stock but I also put in a titanium strut bar and exhaust, 2-piece rotors, etc.

Also annoys me that they couldn't fill those 2 buttons with anything. Like it could've been a button to do literally anything. Poverty buttons shouldn't be on the highest trim

I have taken advantage of having "manually adjusting seats" in my Nismo. According to my DL, I'm 5'8. But since I keep getting older 🤣 I'm probably shorter now. The thing is that every time I would get in or out of the car, I would kick the door panel at the bottom of the speaker. Already messing up the finish.
I've found the perfect solution. A simple pull of the lever and the sit goes all the way back. Now I have perfect clearance. Once I go in to drive it, I just pull a few notches and I'm set.
On my previous Performance model, I wouldn't be able to do that because the seats are electric.
Now my door panel is nice and clear. 🙌🏻
