This is a very important car, and I'd want them to ring it out hard in track and B-Roads. They all have at least one skilled driver on their show.

My next tier would be Everyday Driver guys.

And that's about it. I don't need any clown reviews like Doug, Moran, Raiti, redline, fast lane, etc.

1. Jason Camissa (loved his over the top energy from his time on motor trend)
2. Carlos Lago (he referred to the 370z as a rough-tumble sports car and was one of the only people who gave the 370z an unbiased review)
3. Throttle House
4. Straight Pipes (for the shizz and gigs)
5. Redline, Motoman & Alex on Autos

Chris Harris or The Grand Tour reviewing the car would be the cherries on top.

First and foremost, I want Randy Pobst to get times at Laguna Seca, and his inputs of course! See if he can get under 1:40.
I completely agree. Randy Pobst because I believe he is fair and sympathetic. And he knows how to drive. NONE of these other guys can drive.

Also, I respect him a lot (even though he doesn't like Zed's) so I would love Chris Harris to take the Zed for a crack around the track and more to the point some twisty roads in Cali. He gets what it means to be an analog car.

Don't be surprised that a bunch of those wannabe reviewers will be getting nothing to review, which means they'll read others' and then plagerize to "create" their own "review".
unlikely.

I love the boys over at Everyday Driver and I've been watching them for years. Their reviews are grounded in the reality of the roads we drive on, but also show us how these cars behave on a dedicated road trip.

Having said that they both just went halfers on a Blue GR86 this past week! Todd just re-bought an early 90s Z32TT so he is a fan.

Completely agree about these clown reviewers. As if coming to the game late at an Auto show and "posting" your "critical" review of the Boulder Gray Z three weeks after it first appears actually matters to anyone. We can all find the Glovie or the hatch release, thank-you. And after seeing Larry Chen's photo shoot we've see the pinnacle of the Zed images captured in the wild of San Diego and at Nissan Design Headquarters. Full Stop.

To be honest...most of these "reviewers" annoy me. I just watch them because of the car. I can form my own opinions and conclusions. I just want this car out already lol.

I hear what you are saying and yet as an example I remember Chris Harris describing how the 370Z was a 7/10s car and how it got unsettled in the rear end and wasn't dampered in the same way and as settled as the Cayman. Even though I had H&R fully adjustable coil overs all round, I still experienced this and his review help me make note of that. Going forward, I hope Nissan listened and tried to settle the back end down on this new Zed. So I find some reviewers helpful who can actually drive. Other's that sit in a mall or in a driveway don't command my time at all. Anyone can do that.

Another pet peeve of mine, a lot of these reviewers when track testing spend soooo much time drifting the cars around the track. Sure looks glorious but that is NOT the fastest way for laptimes. Small sprinkling to note behaviors at oversteer conditions, i.e. how catchable the chassis is, therefore predictable. But come on, I'd rather see proper fast times logged with enough data logging to break down the parts - cornering, braking, acceleration, etc. Those are what wins races or even just track day times. Balance is what we're after.

The Z now with 50 hp over the current Nismo, I'm hoping the chassis is tuned to handle that, period!

Throttle House (only if it's a Throttle House Track Test)

Don't much care about what anyone else thinks. If this thing isn't good, dynamically, on a track I'm definitely cancelling my order.
