I initially went with the AWE Track Edition, but found the drone to be a bit much, so I ordered the Track-to-Touring Conversion and couldn’t be happier.

That’s awesome!! I think I’ll for sure be keeping then cats. Man that touring does sound clean and not too obnoxious.

I went the MBRP like the one MattJ2020 shared a video.
Well built, easy install and great value. It's a good thick walled system, and sounds great. I've had mine on for about 3000 miles now and love it.

But I did get the active Noise nonsense turned off by my dealer as I feel like it was trying to fight the exhaust noise with terrible base from the "SUB"

Well i think I’ve decided on an exhaust. AWE is what I’m leaning on, as much as I prefer HKS or armytrix, they to expensive. However I do have a question regarding AWE. I’ve noticed they sale a touring or track version. If you go to their website, it appears that if you buy the touring kit and then buy the conversion kit from touring to track, it’s more expensive. In other words if one buys the track system then buy the conversion kit from track to touring it’s cheaper. Am I trippin? Is there a reason why? Anyone have an idea? I’m interested in both setups.

After looking around and hearing back from FI, I think thats going to be the route I'm going. The price is a bit higher than I'd like, but the quality and sound is there, which is what I'd rather have.

Post VG30 era Nissan V6's have that tendency to sound like a low brass section with a lot of exhausts, but I think I'm pretty confident in the FI.

I remember watching this FI video and will give it a go again.

I think there's some caveats to the Frequency Intelligent exhaust; Pretty sure the car they are testing on has upper downpipes still attached. There's a few different configurations they offer it in that I only found out about after talking with the sales rep for FI.

You can apparently get a version with LDP deletes, cats for the LDP's, or a cat back section that allows you to use aftermarket full downpipes or a factory setup to the rest of the FI system.

Likely what I'm going to do are catted downpipes with the "cat back" variant. Its a bit too quiet for me with the valve closed (quieter than factory on the video, apparently) but the sound quality seems solid.

I think the rep said the "average" diameter was 2.75, which is the only qualm I have about it, but being that its a true dual I can potentially let that slide.
