Yes - took care of my issue rubbing on the lower center brace. I‘m guessing it adds ~1/2+ clearance to the lower center brace. They are ~1/8” shorter & much stiffer - they don't sag as much as the stock hangers.

before installing these hangers, i had decent clearance after the “krackaC8” mod but it would still have contact with the lower center brace intermittently.

another option would be to add thick washers or shim plates between the lower brace and body for the four mounting bolts near the cross over end of the brace.
Any additional NVH? I added a similar set to an Evo once and it created a really strange buzzing sensation.

I don’t want to badmouth them, but no. These people have no clue. 2+ hours ago I steered clear of a debate when they asked it it was MT or AT. I said something like,

“AT. No manual NISMO until the ‘27s are here.”

the response was “We see manuals.”

“Manual NISMOs?”

“Yeah. From time to time.”

At that point I was done.
I’ve been dealing with them since 2003, as they’re the only Nissan dealer in Tallahassee. Nothings changed for 23 years. I try to minimize the interaction.
I had similar interaction with a guy from my dealer. However he thought there were no manual Z's at all anymore. I told him they had a couple on the floor when I got mine (mine is an A/T) and he just said they have never had a manual Z because they don't make them anymore. I just said OK and carried on.

before any mods - make sure the x-pipe is parallel (level) to the lower center brace so that both resonator pipes have the same clearance to the brace. After that i was able to hold the resonator sections up by hand with plenty of clearance while tightening the clamps - but they would drop down when i let go because the hangers sagged too much.
Thanks!! Very helpful. I find this forum is simultaneously the cause of all my Z problems and the source for the fix, hahah.

I just ordered a similar universal set from Amazon (just to avoid any import hassle). I noticed the OEM hangers are fairly soft rubber when I was installing my AWE Track exhaust. I think with some further adjustment and the smaller stiffer hangers I might not have to touch the w-brace. I haven't been back under my Z to try further adjustments because I have been waiting for my Mishimoto skid plate to arrive (landed yesterday). I'll now wait for the new hangers and hopefully get everything done at one time.

Here are the hangers I'll try:

I don't think those will help. I bought a similar set with the stock “H” pattern made from polyurethane and they were flexible same as stock. Polyurethane should be stiffer than EPDM rubber, but I’m not sure.

I also found a nismo hanger @ Z1 that looks good but size was not listed so i bought the ones i posted. The second pic is the ones that were flexible like stock hangers. The third pic is the ones i used - they are shorter and much stiffer than stock.

Thanks again for sharing all this. You likely just saved me from a wasted purchase. I didn't pay attention to the H design but I see what you mean. I cancelled the cheap Amazon ones and I'll be the guinea pig on the hangers from Z1 (they're pricey little rubber blocks for me after currency conversion and shipping). I figure the solid design should have the least amount of play and the size looks to be about the same. Our roads are terrible (condition and debris) so I would like to get the exhaust as high as possible.

I took the opportunity to also pick up the Z1 sunshade and seat risers. I'm not sure the risers will help but I'll try them anyway. I'm 6'2", not super tall, but I'm all leg.
