Back from my test loop! Noticeably less floatiness during high-speed cornering and less random jittering over bumps, railroads tracks, bridge expansion joints, etc. Sharper turn-in requiring less micro-adjustments mid-corner. Best way to describe it is the chassis is stiffer with less flex letting the springs do the work instead. No creaks or rattles; car feels solid.

I plan to install the rear chassis brace after the springs since it'll require an alignment afterward.

Starting to ponder whether or not I even need these springs now, though...

If you don’t use your Eibachs, I may buy them off you.

So not reality but AI. Kinda like what it came up with.

So, how does it drive?!
I’ve gone down the NISMO rabbit hole and while I would lose the M/T I would probably much prefer those seats and the chassis over the performance I have! If this helps stiffen it up to make it feel more connected I’m more inclined to stay put and just add some choice chassis mods and try to track down a low use set of NISMO seats and use the upholstery guy I got to take out the red to put in matching blue on the seats!

Blows my mind that black wheels are so popular, these pics show how good light color wheels work, fancy design not camouflaged....
I've never used AI but I was using it for a job interview and my resume, my friend told me to use it. As you can see, it's immediately turned into a rabbit hole since I had to pay for it 🤣

Excellent question! I have no idea LOL

Had some issues at the house I had to tend to immediately after the install and the Z hasn't left the garage since. I'll find out and provide feedback tomorrow, though.

I have no idea why but I’ve really started to consider getting a Seibon CF hood. I’m not even big into carbon but I think the look would be great on mine. 😭
Shedding weight is never a bad idea; these Z's are pigs in stock trim. I've been unbolting and removing steel pieces as I go to lighten the load.

Wow, blast from the past, back in the 90's I had a Gen 2 Acura Legend Type II with 6MT. Seibon made CF parts for that car back then. It became immediately clear that the CF hoods were actually heavier than OEM hood, because all Seibon was doing was buying aftermarket replacement hood, stripping the skin off and adding a fiberglass shell with a CF top layer. The hood was flimsier and heavier than stock, and the hood struts would cause buckling when trying to close the hood.

I bet they haven't changed a damn bit. Can you imagine the cost of a full CF hood compared to a quickie reskin?

Although I found Seibon to offer ok stuff, and I even bought a spoiler from them, no way would I have bought their hood.

Be sure to check them and see if they have improved
