You're welcome. AMS makes the Nismo intakes so the air filters are the same. I'm personally a fan of a bucket of water with dish soap.
I knew AMS and NISMO were the same so I was glad you posted that link...I guess I kept researching "NISMO" and that's why I couldn't find anything. My Google-fu isn't always the greatest lol!

People should do what they like. A car, especially one like the Z, is our toy. We should enjoy our toys the way we like.
To answer your question on why spacers are bad. the only thing I can think of is that it sets the wheel farther out, therefore causing more torque on the axles and bearings, and they weren't designed that way. In real world practice, I don't know if it makes a difference, but I can tell you that I would NEVER put spacers on a car that I use on a track. Also, by sandwiching a spacer in there, you can create vibration if you don't use a proper or high quality spacer.
Also, I would never use an aftermarket hub centric wheel that is not machined to the proper size, and use hub rings. Also a bad idea, and a source of possible vibration. If I go with a non OEM wheel, it would have to be a properly machined wheel that doesn't need hub rings.
All that said, it's just my own opinion and biases. Hence, why I'm a guy that usually likes to leave things stock. When I was younger, I was big into customizing my car, but quickly realized that the engineers design things a certain way for a reason. I also realized that I'm not smarter than these engineers, lol
My wife drives mine most days, I like driving the back roads once in a while. Tracking the car isn’t in my future but I defiantly agree with its engineered as a system.

Nobody gets to the grocery store faster than her and she looks good getting there 😂

I did a similar long drive last summer. Drove through Pennsylvania up the mountains and down the valleys for 6 hours straight. The car is a pleasure to ride in and drive. Can't wait for warmer weather. Nice pix man! Im at 8200 miles after my year anniversary .

I’m in the same boat brother. It’s a shame I can’t drive her more, just need more time. I’ll never get rid of her though. I’m close to hitting 3,500 miles

Got pulled on by an older WRX, 2004 or 2005, had an aftermarket exhaust and who knows what else, and was FAST. It’s the first car that I have not been able to pull away from. We stayed even from 35 until about 80 when I let off for safety.

I just have CAI and Stillen TruControl, I had it on MAP 4 at the time.

I wish he would have stopped so we could have talked but he turned off quickly.

Added Swift springs. Progressive, firmer but not harsh, buttoned down, no bottom-out on RR tracks and dips, great so far. If need more camber, SPL arms next. Gotta get baselines first.

It‘s interesting how they greatly exaggerate the position of the wheels yet show the stock exhaust piping actual size.
Relax man, it's just a diagram LOL
