This whole kit + the 525 fuel pump kit is about $800.

If you plan to go for big power 800whp+ and require a 2nd fuel pump in the future, then the AMS kit is a better choice.
I might go with the AMS kit to save myself a little work....but currently have other items on my shopping list, ie. a heat exchanger, an oil cooler upgrade, etcetera

Dunlops SUCK at the dragstrip. Launch control brings us off the line slow, then adds power, but the Dunlops just don't hold grip through the first 200 feet or so and as the temperature started to drop (from 92 to 87) the stuttering of the tires through the first few hundred feet became worse. The suggestion was to drop rear tire pressure of the Dunlops by 5 psi for the next event next weekend.

I took it out early this morning for a couple of runs in the middle of nowhere. Tires sucked ... as I have complained about before, they broke free at almost every shift from the 9AT. First run with no TC/sport mode ... got to 117 before the radar detector went nucking futs.
The second run, left TC on and got to 138 before feeling the tires get squirrelly ...
Might have video from the RedTiger F17 Elite dash cam to show later.
It was still fun as hell to actually let it free after 1700+ miles and let it eat!
Still have no mods or tuning.

A dark day for the Z today. I saw the clouds building and called my wife to do a rescue mission, she drove to our office we swapped keys, she raced home but got caught in a torrential downpour for about a mile to our garage…..

HENDE Z has now been driven in rain…. :crying:

Made it 11 months without anything but dry pavement!

Took the dive and installed a radar detector using a mirror tap. It was not that difficult but I am always a bit apprehensive when invading the existing systems especially electrical. Another rewarding accomplishment.

I have to confess that I've used my wipers...on multiple occasions.
I've driven through a flash flood watch/warning ... not on purpose, but it is monsoon season. The best thing ever ... I got the entire car ceramic coated in the first month of buying.

My wife hasn't driven my Z yet (two years). I've offered many times; she's not interested, despite the fact the the G35 we bought in 2003 was hers. The G35 was almost a Brickyard 350Z.
