Also, do you have a catch can? If so, and it happens to be a Mishimoto, does the funnel and metal plate occupy the same space?

I assume the whole kit are the two tubes in their pics. If so, they would not interfere with a catch can

Do the stock intakes extend at all past the radiators or is it just a hole int he core support? I know cars with similar setups without any extension like this that have issues when stopped/ lowspeed of pulling hot air backwards through the radiators. This would prevent that.

I can see where this would be. Benefit but I don’t have it. That’s the pic from their website. Found it searching and wanted to share.
I don’t have anything on my radar, purposefully, that involves removing the front bumper. I do my own stuff and that’s something I just don’t want to deal with at this point.

I got you. I do my own as well. I am about to swap my stock heat exchanger with a (czp). I thought while I have the bumper off, why not.

I do not have an aftermarket intake, stock. I saw you post and the pic, and I thought this guy has the same idea. Cheers!

Following to see if someone actually does it. Have open Boosted 6 CAI and this could help get more external air. Also have CZP HE on order so like the previous post that I will be taking bumper off and could do both.

Notice anything? I saw b6a now something similar. I ended up swapping the stock intake for the b6a shorty ("3 tube). I was getting tuned and a friend pointed it out, so why not.

I did notice that the shorter intakes with no box let in dust and dirt. I had to "rig up" a heat shield that incorporated the air inlet. Not for heat defection, but to retain the dirt and dust from wedging itself in all the crevices.
