years ago i almost traveled a 1000+ miles to buy what a seller claimed was an r32 gtr that was really a gts-4. it was about half the price of a gtr.

nearly all the pics were from angles that conseled that it had 4 doors. at the time i didn't even know they existed lol. but the seller was right in claiming it was awd

This is supposed to be available this winter....but badged as Infiniti. IMO that's a mistake, should be kept as Nissan Skyline here in the US. Just think of the heritage the Skyline name has and brings back to the states and car culture. Sorry, but Inifiniti Q50 will water it down and gets way less identity and sales.

The New Skyline Will Be An Infiniti In North America
North America won’t get the Skyline with a Nissan badge. Instead, it will come here as an Infiniti, which is hardly a surprise given that previous-generation models from the two sister brands were closely related. Potentially called the Q50, it will allegedly feature rear-wheel drive and a manual gearbox, as previously hinted by Tiago Castro, vice president of Infiniti Americas.

As for what will power it, insider claims suggest it will borrow the twin-turbo V6 engine from the Z, where the VR30DDTT produces 420 hp and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm) in the new manual Nismo version. We also wouldn’t rule out Nissan offering the new Skyline with all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission (but not a CVT) to broaden its customer base.

Just like the RZ34 was a body kit and a motor swap, V38 is a body kit and a tranny swap.

Like current Z, going all in on sedan nostalgia - Get the GT-R and other Skyline coupes out of your heads (or be disappointed)

Blend of R32/R33 out back, Blend of R32/R34 up front.

Nissan Skyline in JP, Infiniti Q50 in the US - There will be a "Heritage Package" for the US model with JDM badging.

Q60 was USDM only, I highly doubt it with the way Nissan is doing.

I'm sure the attitude is "If they want a coupe, buy a Z"
